I just purchased a HB ST-62CC RW Lake Placid Blue, I'm in the states and it was $82 to ship from Germany, but even with that kind of shipping cost it's still a deal @ $218 to the door. I never heard of HB until seeing videos like yours. I recently bought a couple of their basses and I can't believe how nice they are for the price I paid. The guitar I bought was compared with a Fender American that sells for $1500 with tax and it held its own. Granted ... that particular Fender had better parts, but the sound to me and others didn't justify an almost $1300 difference. ETA for arrival ... 2/2/23. Just thought you'd like to know.

Sounds sweet as for the money, I just ordered one yesterday with a gig bag for 128 quiddlys, delivered! Hope it doesn't need too much setting up, I'm very inexperienced at anything other than lowering action and tuning. Awesome playing BTW 👍👍👍☮☮☮☮🤘🤘🤘

Oh, I love your playing in this. My brother's got some Harley Bentons in his studio. They do seem to punch way above their weight.

AFAIK all pickguards come with double plastic. I have been making custom loaded pickguards for over a decade, and every single one, regardless of manufacturer, has double plastic so far.

There's a bundle that consists of this guitar and a Harley Benton HB-10G amplifier, do you recommend getting it for an absolute beginner?

I just had a look at the amp and it seems fine. It does a clean and distorted sound and won’t be too loud for home use. I’d say the bundle would be great for an absolute beginner. Good luck with it!!

Your point about the hardtail is exactly what I think. The cheaper the guitar, the less moving parts the better, in my opinion. It's why I'm torn between this and the tele version, if I'm honest. Any thoughts, anyone?

I didn’t pay for shopping on this HB because it was part of a bigger order. If it was on its own I would’ve had to pay. All the Fazley stuff so far has been delivered by Parcel Force. Thanks!

Thanks! This is really difficult. I’d say they’re both exactly the same quality. I don’t think one is better than the other. It just depends on what configuration/specs you like. I prefer the hard tail over the vintage style trem, but I also like having a neck single coil. If I could only have one…. Probably the TE because of the bridge. Hope that helps!

My mind said it is a standard guitar sound for beginners and not good for any gigs or battles.. After you play guitar with a heavy song.. my mind was changed and said yeah.. it is still a standard guitar sound for beginners..
