That's the one and only time I drove it with out mufflers on it ... Just wanted to get it on video so I can watch it over and over again. Just thought I'd share lol the pipes I have on it are modified, k&n air cleaner , and a efi fuel pack computer..... I maybe big for it but I'm comfortable on it. It's fun and that's all that matters thank you 😊

The nightster 1200 was really comfortable for me to ride. I'm 6'1" and I think I was 230 ish. Of course i probably feel comfortable on that because I was used to 1970ish Honda 50 lol now that was a small bike. But then again I only drove the 50 up north around my buddy's cabin

I Love the sound of Sportys man, I rode an Ironhead to Oakland from Long Island back in the day. Takes Balls to Ride a Sporty for sure and they sound as tough as they ride. More power to ya brother,

I have a 05 sportster 1200 with the same thing but I rejetted it for the straight pipe and it runs completely fine, hardly any backfires. I like it.

I ask the same question, if the back pressure is such an issue then why do 1/4 mile race cars run with open headers???/? also I drilled a one inch hole in my baffles but didnt remove them, and the only difference that I can see so far is a slight backfire when I let off the exhaust. I am worried though after reading alot of comments saying that this is a terrible mistake??????
