I wanted to give everyone a quick view at the brand new Advanblack Cobra Blue Seat & Backrest for the Harley Davidson. I'll update in the comments section after I test ride it.

*OK... Took the seat on a 500 mile weekender. The seat is very comfortable and rivals the Mustang Super touring. The advantage the Mustang has is that it's a wider. The seat is perfect for me at 6-1" and does sit you a little lower. The passenger seat was not a fan favorite with my GF. She said the colored piping became painful after a while.*

Hey Ron, second time now you've asked Alexa the temp. Both times my Alexa answers. LOL Seat looks good. That material might be Alcantara. I believe the mustang will be more comfortable for the long haul. Bring cool weather gear when heading north, when the sun drops it gets cool. Peace ✌🏽

Thanks for sharing, Ron. I dig that blue, much more than the red Damonk got. Would look perfect with the blue pin stripping on my 08 Road King special ed. Now the 1M$ questions: does it change the seat height? Are you moved forward / back compared to your old seat and what about butt fatigue / overall riding comfort? Would be great if you could publish an update after your road trips. Ride safe.💯🤟

Ron, great video. I have a similar set up on a 20 RGS w/ king pack, rider wrap backrest and stock seat w/adjustable rider backrest, gf wants a better passenger pillion too. question what’s the rough retail for the single seat and wrap backrest? Can I keep my HD adjustable rider backrest, I think the answer is probably yes. Did your GF get over the piping issue or can you at least get a tank out of her before you make her get off and touch her toes?

Did you sell the super touring seat? I was looking at the advanblack seats but unfortunately they do not make a extended reach version and being 6’4 I need something that will move me back a few inches and up a inch or so. Been looking into the super touring extended reach seat but my goodness they are pricy.

No I’m keeping that as a back up. I’m 6-2 and I think it’s a perfect fit for me. It should be good at your size too.

wondering on the piping and long term wear, and rubbing off or degradation over time. Stitching looks nice but piping not a fan.

The piping seems to be very well made but you never know with extended exposure to the sun what might happen,

@@RealRonTV yep. wondering on that. I do a lot of long distance riding. 1200 miles or so at a time so maybe the piping could become an issue. Not sure. Will be looking at a seat in next couple of weeks. Leaning toward a Corbin. Thanks for reply.

@@Frostytravels well I can tell you that 1200 miles on this seat is no problem and very comfortable. But we all are built differently, from no ass to a huge ass lol. I just know it works for me. 😀
