Thanks for the tips, helped out. Just to ask, I do a lot of my own "basic" automotive work, especially brakes, but on a bike, do you not apply a light amount of "brake & caliper" grease on the back of the pad, the shims and the caliper pin?

Depends on the brake setup. But typically no, I've noticed it just collects more dust and road grime, thus creating a sticky nasty mess. 👍🏼 But to each their own!

Is it normal for the caliper to move up and down a little bit by hand? Im talking about very little when the break is not being pressed?
