Hi mate, I looking to switch to floorboards on my 2022 Fat Bob 114 too. How did you go with this upgrade? Fit perfectly?

The only thing I'd say I miss about the pegs is grinding the boards when I lean in hard. You lose around 2° lean angle (from 28° to about 26°) but it's a small quibble given the comfort factor. I wouldn't even consider switching back. And no, I haven't done the brake yet, but I plan on it eventually.

It's the same frame, so I'd imagine so. You may have a bit less lean angle before grinding, though, so take that into account.

Ok, so I ran up to Harley of Quantico and I'm looking at a Low Rider S, it won't work without switching out the brake pedal assembly and linkage from a Fat Boy, Heritage, Sport Glide, or something similar.

Not sure. I'd have to look, although the Softail frames are similar.

Ask Harley for the 30th Anniversary Fat Boy parts

I'm fine, no issues with the Sport Glide, but I know that Paul Yaffe sells a stand adjuster if you feel like you need it.

No, but it's on the list. It's not that bad without it, since I already had to cant my leg around the Heavy Breather intake, and I was used to it.

? The parts list that I included is all 30th Anniversary Fatboy parts. There is no clearance issue, and I've had the floorboards on the bike now for over 6K miles with no issues. I hope that answers your question.

My buddy just did that to his 2020. Just make sure to get the forward controls with them.

I'm pretty sure they do, but that's not the look I was going for. The 30th Anniversary Fatboy had blacked out teardrop floorboards that match the flow of the Sport Glide better IMHO

I haven't tried it myself, but if you just look online a bit, they have heel toe setups available for nearly every M8 Softail. It shouldn't be hard at all.

That's very unlikely. The frame spacing is too different between Dynas and 18-up Softails. My buddy has a 17 Street Bob, so I'll take a look when I get a chance.

No, but with the Heavy Breather on there it does require you to toe the brake a bit different. I suggest changing it if you can.

It's personal preference honestly. The Heritage Classic/Slim models run half moon boards, whereas the Fat Boy boards are teardrop shaped. I prefer the teardrop as it seems to fit the shape of my sport glide better, and they look more aggressive. Plus the main resting surface is further forward, showing me to comfortably rest my heels and turn my feet outboard of my pedals.

They do, but you have to move the mounting points. They're the opposite two holes of the two that your mid mounted pegs are currently at. You will have to switch to a forward shift position as well.

I got mine at Southside HD in Virginia Beach. If you just use the numbers at the end, you'll have what you need. Go somewhere else and tell them you own the bike you're trying to pull these from.

All Sport Glides are identical, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think so. The mounting holes for mids are the same location as the boards.

You have to convert to forward controls to do this. Then it's just the same.

Yes. Any 18-up with forward controls is a simple swap.

You'd have to do the forward control conversion and possibly tap the forward holes for the floorboards. Compare a bike with forward controls to yours, it'll show you the differences

So my buddy did a floorboard conversion on his 20 Street Bob and it's entirely possible. Go for it!
