All heritage issues aside, the way today's battery technology is, electric bike comparable in size and range of a Road Glide would weight circa 1400lbs. And as there are no government subsidies for electric motorcycles, it would cost right about 60-70K . Good luck selling those.

Zeitz’s addressed this in the Morgan Stanley sponsored video, stating “we’re not there yet with today’s technology” then goes on about how the research and development that LiveWire is doing will eventually lead to Harley. If we give him the time and the acceptance of electric vehicles progresses without opposition we could eventually see battery touring models at equivalent weights to todays models in the future.

For sure, nothing but the noise of your own thoughts. And that is fine. If you choose to want that experience, but for it to be your only choice? No. First it’s this next will be your guns then your house. It’s socialism. No thank you.

Rode & drove a few EVs, impressive acceleration but soulless. Range is terrible and long recharge times are appalling. I’ll stick with my petrol powered Harleys (and V8 Jeep CJs) Thanks for the Upload! Regards from South Africa 👍
