My father once talked about a professor who was an alcoholic. The dude came in to teach one time, sober, and pops told me it was the lamest class the guy ever taught. No fault in it, as you go on that decline your biochemistry needs to reach equilibrium. You suffer, if you don't drink. Symptoms that make you feel like you're dying, eventually. Dan is a tortured genius. But his tormentor is himself. As an alcoholic myself, I wish him the best, maybe even a 3D printed liver, or something. He, honestly, wouldn't be as funny or profound if he was sober. But he would be nicer. Take care, Dan. We love you.
