Lyrics:
The love I lost
Was a sweet love
The love I lost
Was complete love
The love I lost
I will never, no, no, never
Love again, ooh
I can remember planning
Building my whole world around you
I can remember hoping
That you and I could make it on through
But something went wrong
We loved each other
We just couldn't get along
Take a good look at me
I'm in misery, can't you see?
The love I lost
Was a sweet love (yes it was)
The love I lost
Was complete love
The love I lost
I will never (never), no, no, never (never)
Love again, ooh
I can't remember nothing, no no no
But the good times we used to share, oh no
I'm so sad and lonely
But without you, my life is so dead
I'm sorry to say
You go your way and I'll go my way
It hurts deep inside
The day we said goodbye, but the love
The love I lost
Was a sweet love
The love I lost
Was complete love
The love I lost
I will never (never) no no never
Love again (I'll never never never love again)
I will never (never) no, no, never (never)
Love again
I will never (never) no, no, never (never)
Love again
Never, no, no, never
Love again
Never, no, no, never (never)
Love again
Never
I lost it
Sorry I lost it...

You are absolutely right. Though futuristic in my musical taste, I long for this depth and magnificence in music. Thereby robbing themselves of the enjoyment of the arrangements, instrumentality, and varied voices coming together in a groovin’ song story. This music style has Gospel roots and this certainly has its black roots! But MORE IMPORTANTLY like you said IT HAS TOGETHERNESS!!! I love America because of great American people like these and people like you that recognize God given blessings and TOGETHERNESSS! I Love the song "Wake up everybody" by Harold Melvin & The Blue notes. It's too bad America is going back to sleep, quickly forgetting its greatness in Art, Moral Values and The lessons left in the arts like music like that song.. America is quickly overcoming racism only to go "come American People of all creeds, skins, tongues, nationality's and let us sin together equally.".. I miss your generation sir... We truly are doomed in ours..
