Alif is the journey of Momin and Momina, where Momin’s journey is to rediscover his roots and Momina’s journey is to maintain the livelihood of her family by fateful events their paths will join. In Momin’s journey when everyone has left him alone, his grandfather and Momina help him to connect with who he really is. The negativity in his personality has put him on a path where success and glamour meet him but he drifts away from his purpose in life.
On the other hand, Momina agrees to help him because she has recently lost her brother and struggled with emotional trauma, therefore, she understands the difficulties faced by Momin hence she and his grandfather plays the pivotal role to overcome his struggle with past and helps him make peace with memories of his mother.

Beautiful how: - Taha gave up his everything for Husn-e-Jahan but, still got rebuked. - Husn-e-Jahan gave up his everything for Momin but, still got hate from him. - Abdul Ala loved his son but, still got deceived. (by him) Only the LOVE of ALLAH is real. If they had loved ALLAH this way, they wouldn't have been deceived. They would have surely got back that LOVE from ALLAH.

Shuja Haider's scene, his voice and both protagonists acting in the moment, the Scene of Momina and her mother, the Scene of that story telling, that scene of Chai, that one of their fight, Momin's outburst, Momina's confession and conversation with her father, those two dialogues " Aurat hoti tu bhatak jati, Maa nai bhatakti, exploit hoti hai " " Stars toot jaty hain" Can't ask for anything better than this...Why is this MASTERPIECE underrated

This serial is just a co incidence in his life but reflects his real life. This is last n best of his career. We ll not see him in dramas or movies anymore.
