Many think Detail Geek, Mad or Stauffer are the best detailers because of their "satisfying disaster detail" concept, but for me you, Joe and Sandro are the ultimate best detailer guru. I learned a lot from you mate. Hopefully more videos to come in the near future. Thanks.

I enjoy all their videos 👍🏼 In the UK we wouldn’t class Detail Geek as a detailer, but more as a valeter as he essentially just does deep cleans. A Detailer is someone that can competently use a machine polish to correct paint and apply waxes & coating etc

Several months ago i saw a detailer that has a huge following here in the US clean farm truck. You could see mud hanging on the door jamb when the door was open. He said customer didnt ask for it to be cleaned so he didnt. Since when has a door jamb not be part of a vehicle.

That’s bizarre. Even if they said not to worry about it I would at least spray a degreaser then pressure wash it. That would do 90% of the work anyway 🤔

Nice work, very thorough job and a lot of effort but it looks great at the end. The Defender looks really good, although looks like it needs some wax/ceramic coating (maybe next time) 😃👍🏻🍻

What dilution do you use citrus magic at mate? I tend to find it can cause streaking but I love using it for bugs 😁

I wouldn't want to detail a 110 everyday! That's alot of car. Tiring just watching and that's without polishing /waxing but looks fantastic. Great job.

It’s a lot of car, especially when the wheel arches have about 1 inch of mud 😂 I machine polished it last year and it was quite a lengthy job ha

Just finished a 2 stage paint correction and ceramic coating on a family members RangeRover sport. The part I hate most is flushing months worth of silty mud out of every crevice with the pressure washer to the extent I actually find it unenjoyable 😂.

hi Harper, may I ask when you were cleaning the jambs why did you spray the citrus then wash off then sprayed the citrus again and then used the wash mitt and sprayed off?

I used the citrus initially to help dissolve as much grime as possible, then rinsed it away. Similar to the outside I wanted to remove as much dirt as possible before any contact wash to avoid potentially scratching 👍🏼

Great video Harper! i love the new Defender. i bought a mild claybar and i do not intend to polish the car,its a 10 year old Reanult Megane Berlline edition with 120k miles,the paint is already scratched and etc,theres just loads of contamination. So is is worrying that i dont polish it ? :D

I would go with the chemical decon first to remove the majority of contamination. They use a car shampoo diluted with water as a clay lube and very light clay the car 👍🏼

I use a step ladder for the top and I clean the number plates before I put mine on…

This might be a stupid question, but as I have seen it in the title of several of your videos, what does “a day’s shooting” mean? Is that a UK expression, as I suspect it means something different here in the United States.
