I just installed this complete kit and it was exactly what I was looking for! The sarge knob really locks it down when I don't want swivel and I won't have any more problems with the swivel lock screw loosening up on me anymore.

Buy the bipod with the desired attachment; they're available in picatinny without adapters.

Should have talked about those very very hard plastic feet I just replaced mine with a set of Hawk Talon spiked feet and after installed I filed down the pointed ends about 1/32nd and have solved the problem of having the bipod slide around while shooting. I filed it down so the spiked feet wouldn't damage the benches I shoot off. Works great even solved the leg rotating problem.

Im going nut, my bipod doesn't lock when open and it folds backs forward when I aim upward causing the barrel to drop. It's very hard to use, any solution???

The Atlas comes in at $279.95 MSRP. The Alamo upgraded Harris is $169.00. More than a $100 difference. The bipods have a totally different feel and different price points.

Yes LaRue does, but they do not sell the components. Only the whole bipod.

Very cool products. The only thing missing is a quick release for the DLOC QD Picatinny Mount.

The DLOC is a type of QD mount. Just not a throw lever.

I would say that the price point on it makes it also worth looking at the Larue BRM-S with LT706 QD mount. Personally, I like Atlas bipods because they can be 'loaded' so easily.

I never monday the swivel mount. I just welded a lever to the lock nut for the adjustment.

awesome adj. knob. Do u suggest putting some light strength thread lock on the nut as extra assurance that it wont loosen once its tightened to the users desire? Also if we havent purchased the bipod yet, do u think the larue mount is a better choice? The other thing that Im concerned with is the external springs catching on brush- do u forsee that being an issue? Thanks for the review!

I had a weird thing happen with my pod-loc... Somehow it wore down the first 1/8" of thread and while I was out shooting the pod-loc fell off.

Hey John, was looking back through old videos and was looking for that one video you did on a bipod that had a quick adjust add on to tighten the tension, does that ring a bell?

John, I have a Harris on my B&C M40 and I have an issue with the fastner that holds the bipod to the stock coming loose and geeting crooked sideways. When this happens I notice my groups open up. Would you suggest this as a fix to my problem if I put a rail on my stock? Also what are your thoughts on Seekins bipod mount? Thanks for the video!

Do you know if the Alamo upgraded harris bipod they sell on their site is the brm-s bipod? I emailed them and never received a response.
