I bought a 2019 Harris Cruiser 210 brand new with 2 pontoons and had the 115 CT Mercury put on it. We absolutely love it. Want to upgrade to a tritoon someday but very happy for now

Honestly I didn’t know they sold pontoons anymore, thought everything was a Tritoon, I shopped a few places did a little research with with a sunliner 250 with a 300hp.

We have the 2020 Cruiser Tri-toon w/150 Merc. Love it for and over all boat that we use for cruising and a lot of water sports with the kids and grandkids. I can do 38 MPH in the boat when I'm by myself, which is plenty for the 800 acre lake we're on. Overall, very nice watercraft and we get a lot of compliments on it.

Im not going to be in the market for a boat for 3-5 yrs from now but I have been looking at Harris and Manitou brands. Obviously, things may change from now til then but I dont think it will change that much. Thanks again for your vids! I always like to leave a comment on vids that help me improve my knowledge!!

I have a 2021 Harris Cruiser 210 w/ a Merc 150hp EFI 4-stroke and I love it. I know it’s Harris’s Value class boat but it’s still too-notch quality. The boat cover is about the highest quality boat cover I’ve ever seen with the 4 pole vented system with the really hard holding rail connectors. I don’t think it’s recommended but I’ve pulled my boat on the interstate several times with the cover on and I’ve never had a single issue. The stereo is great but no sub so I added my own powered subwoofer and tossed it under the console. Works great and sounds awesome. Love jamming to Boston on the lake. 😊 I bought my boat at MarineMax in Charlotte NC. Their sales people were very nice and hard working but not the most knowledgeable. Their mechanics Dept is freaking great. They know their stuff. MarineMax has a great advantage due to the fact they have so many stores. If they don’t have it in the show room they can pull it from another store without a lot of BS added charges. They did drop the ball by not telling me my boat came standard with the Bluetooth VesselView module already installed on the motor. I saw VV online and wanted it then I noticed the module was already there once I learned what to look for. Now I have full motor performance monitor on my IPad and/or cell phone at no extra cost other than the app cost which is almost nothing. We like hanging out at the sandbar so I added 2 12’ Talon shallow water anchors. One is mounted on the rear port side and the other Talon is on the front Starboard side. I can pull into a very crowded & cramped sandbar and simply hit a single button and my boat is locked into place. No jumping out and wrestling with an anchor to get it set in the nic-o-time before the wind pushes me into someone else’s boat. This is well worth the money but it’s not cheap. I could go on and on about this boat but those are just some of the selling points and things that really stuck out when I was boat shopping. Now,,,,,, I looked at Tracker boats for two years before I bought my Harris. It’s true that Tracker cuts cost in almost every way you can think of. They even make the fence railing a few inches lower than most boat builders just to save on aluminum BUT Tracker makes up for a lot of their cost cutting by adding a lot of pretty innovative options like the rod holders, live wells and cutting stations etc. When buying a brand new boat things like (lasting for years) really shouldn’t bother the first owner. That’s something later owners need to worry about 😂 Tracker comes with a terrible cheap boat cover. It’s a real pos. Most power options on Tracker boats is compatible to just about anyone else. The only reason I didn’t buy a Tracker was because the Bass Pro Shop in my area apparently don’t care if they make a sale or not. Apparently their salesman aren’t commission based because they simply wouldn’t help me. I couldn’t beg them to take my money so I walked out. I’m so glad I did because I went to many marinas and learned a lot more about everything. Take your time because even a “value” class Tritoon w/ a150hp is going to cost you a min of around $50k. Find a good marina/dealer. That’s huge. Sorry for the bad typing. 😂

@@cassiedrewboston5947 When I did side-side comparison I noticed a lot of little things. Deck-down the Harris had more strength and also the cross members were full width. Deck-up materials seem to be a notch above. Especially Solstice models and up.

I have a 2019 Harris Sunliner. Ride and build quality are key items but friends that have other brands notice the quality more than I do at times especially from deck down. But also things like the boarding gates and tops.

@@BoatBuyersSecretWeapon I upgraded from my Sunliner to a 2022 Grand Mariner. What a difference in ride so much smoother and with the new 250V8 it is even quieter. But the helm is laid out so much better. I have a raised helm and with dual go9s. Its more than an upgrade than I expected.

Why does Harris not put lifting strakes on the outside of the outside pontoons? Anyone know this? I’ve seen strakes on both sides of the outside pontoons just like the center pontoon. I was just wondering if this is some kind of performance thing or is it a cost cutting thing?

Here's an interesting question: I am looking at a Harris Cruiser 210 (20' pontoons/22' length overall) and a 115 HP motor. The choice is between increasing the diameter of the pontoons from 25" to 27" or going with a partial 25" tri-toon (sport package). What are the pros and cons? Which way would you go? I am really trying to stick to a 115 HP motor, otherwise I would simply move up to a 150 and for sure either go with a partial or full third 'toon.

It's alluded to in the video, but what are the differences in construction between the Cruiser and other Harris lines? Is it below the deck? (Harris has a video that points out the existence of a difference btw Cruiser and other lines but also does not identify what they are.)

Yes, the construction, less structural support overall (brackets vs continuous M bracket on some years, not sure when it changed) but also on the appointments and detail on the deck. Some seats may not have backrest, cup holders, speakers, etc
