I have 2 children from over 2 decades ago, my wife has pretty pure white skin (except when she has spent a few week’s in a fast tan salon). I myself have a natural tan even though I’m born & bred in the UK. My wife’s family & my own family conjectured whether or not my children would be born with a little tan or not. There was absolutely NO RACISM, it was a genuine question because most people born & bred in the UK have pink/white skin. I have no relatives abroad which could account for my slight tan that I’m aware of, II’m naturally tanned & I cannot explain this in a more simpler way. It is totally innocent for both sides of a family to wonder what skin tone a new born child may have when the mother is pure white & the father is white but naturally tanned. Why on earth would anyone at all call it racism. My children we’re both born with my tan👍 8 year’s apart & never once been on the end of racism. Both side’s of our families love them anyway, they are both healthy & strong & intelligent, what more could a loving parent ask for???

I also wonder what harry thought about that statement. his own mother went through a lot of pain and it certainly was not because of her color!

First, H &M promote a mission and vision dedicated to charitable causes, helping others, making a positive impact as well as making a difference within the community. Yet, the family of four live in an enormous mansion. It doesn’t look so good to be overly extravagant and lavish while promoting your charity’s organization. They are living in a state the houses the infamous skid row. Sadly, they have many empty rooms available while at the same time there are so many people that do not have a roof over their head and are succumbed to the daily elements? Philanthropists views and ideas do not coincide with your over-the- top lifestyle. How much money is wasted every single day maintaining an over abundant and extravagant lifestyle? Is it really necessary to live in such an enormous mansion when homelessness continues to be a major problem and struggle for so many. Does it make sense to maintain a pool, brook, and sprawling green landscape in a drought ridden state that is susceptible to wildfires? Isn’t it hypocritical to utilize private jets to attend engagements & speak on topics regarding climate control? We each are entitled to live out the lifestyle we want. However, in the case of H & M, their actions speak louder than words - making the public become skeptical and question motives. Announcing in a Press Release the intent to become ‘financially independent’ sends a message that money is your motive and driving force. I believe the reason people are so critical now is because H & M have chosen the spotlight to promote their brand and charitable causes. With any career in the public eye you can expect some backlash. It is part of the package. Unfortunately, in H & M’s case it is beyond what is typical. It is understandable why their brand is tarnished and why so many people have turned against them. I truly believe they set out with good intentions, but they got caught up in the hustle & bustle along the way and sadly..their brand is ‘chaos’.

My niece had a mixed race baby recently. BOTH sides of the family talked about the babies skin. We were simply speculating about what she would look like, what her personality would be, etc... But it's interesting that one side of the family would be called racist for doing the same thing the other side of the family was doing. Both sides would joke and tease each other about if her hair would be red like our side, if she would have green eyes, etc.

As a Brit the overall reaction to Meghan was so positive. The British public have not done this...I saw no racism in the British portrayal of Meghan.Everyone is so fond of Harry and wanted him to be happy and even wanted him to be free to do what he wants. I'm not saying she never came across any racism but it wasnt in the newspapers, I didnt see it online or in the magazines so the British public feel like what have we done wrong?? I'm not saying there wasnt racism there but what I'm saying is we struggling as the public to find it..... The tables started to turn on Meghan when it came out she was a bit of a prima Donna at the tennis and that didnt go down well then the way it all went down with her dad.....even the fact she had nobody but celebs on her side at the wedding and her poor mum who seemd to be all by herself didnt turn the public until it came apparent they wanted all the perks of senior payed for royals but not the actual work that goes with it. And at the same time preach about the environment and our footprint when people have lost a lot this year and feel that being told to cut down on our carbon footprints when its them taking private jets. This is only an Americans perspective the UK is not the same as the United States. Tradition for the monarchy in the UK is part of their government and cannot be changed. The United States and our presidents are chosen by the people. Painting a whole nation as racist is not a wise move. The US is painted as having gun control problems as well as racism. It’s not difficult for Americans to understand that a monarchy does not conform they adapt to change. As an American born and raised, Meghan knew the protocol in place of the Royal Family and she did not want to follow the protocol. Yes British press was harsh towards her and it’s unfortunate she went through this, but it’s obvious that life as a Royal born or married into is not a fairytale. It’s a job that requires duty not wearing a tiara.

I didn’t think Meghan Markle was being discriminated against. I believed she was trying to change an institution that had traditions she didn’t understand. Like bowing to family members. I tried to tell the group not to go after people they thought were racist. I didn’t think it would help her. They then went against me and bullied me off of twitter. I was a fan of Meghan Markle and what I got from the Sussex Squad was pure hatred. I have never in my life face anything like it. It was pure hatred. Why did they hate me? I believe Meghan Markle was teaching rude and racist are different if you are white and don’t like a black person the only reason can be because you are racist. I didn’t like Meghan Markle because I thought she was using race to divide people. I was on twitter supporting her but got bullied off by her fans.
