Imo, if an ASM3 was made, they should have made Goblin have his Ultimate appearance. This transformation seemed to be alluding to that. And if you pay attention, the suit is actually stopping the transformation from being complete, as it says its healing him. And in the ending scene where he's in prison, he has the most secure and largest cell in the prison, and saying the transformation "comes and goes". Without the suit to stop the transformation, he turns into the Ultimate Goblin. So if the series continued we could've gotten both versions of Goblin, the glider look and the ultimate look

The look of Harry's face when he sees what he has become is kinda sad really, it has a look of sadness and disgust but eventually, anger- What I also love about this goblin more then the one in spider man 3 is his look, looks more goblin like then just a human, I also love his glider, looks very futuristic and also love the attention to detail on his suit showing some of his body still showing how his suit clearly isn't finished yet, kinda wished he had much more screen time as goblin, would have loved to see his powers against the swat or whatever, I know there was a different part of the clock battle where goblin was laughing while Peter mourned gwen, I also know that Peter was originally gonna beat Harry nearly to death but i think Peter said "no, I can't do it, it's not something a *hero* would do..." which makes me love andrew even more as spidy

having this scene in the final movie would've been incredible. yes it brings a darker tone but it would've made more sense and made green goblin feel more intense and scary. right after his transformation it skips to gwen and then spidey and electro fought.. then goblin came on screen after electro died/got transported to the mcu and it felt incomplete. venom 1 and venom 2 have more intense scenes than this and are rated pg-13 and 15+ so im sure this scene wouldn't have made the movie R rated or some shit. come on, sony..

This transformation is kind of confusing. The injection was supposed to accelerate his illness symptoms so he doesn't have like super strength he just has a fancy suit that keeps him alive and looks like a Goblin. I feel like they were struggling on deciding they were going to go with regular Green Goblin or do Ultimate Green Goblin and actually turn him or Norman into a hulk like goblin creature, but then changed it right at the last second because they were too afraid that audiences wouldn't like Ultimate Green Goblin because they were more familiar with the original 616 concept. Resulting in them not having a very consistent Goblin.
