I'm always surprised by Harry Enfields real personality, so gently spoken, quiet and unassuming. So very very different to the many characters he's created.

Starting with 2 min 1 sec and then coming back and also being given a time of 1 min 49.7 sec is really a good level of improvement. I actually think, that deep down, he doesn't know that he's a good driver and has potential.

DySfUnCtIoNBmX, I think you missed the cylinder at the extreme right end. The lamplight shinning through the cylinders barely shows up in it, so it's hard to see.

Ben Collins, who was the first white Stig, said in his book "The man in the white suit" that one thing he was always told when the shooting for the episodes started that he basically had to ignore the script and be as unpredictable as possible. Collins also said doing that shoot with Shumacher was enormous fun to do. And a big showcase of Collins indeed ignoring the script and being unpredictable. Because the lap that "Shumacher" did in that episode was actually Collins and he basically went to town with it. He let the engine stall, took the corners the wrong way and even drove the track in the opposite direction. It was all a great laugh.

I think he's an okay driver. 1:49 is pretty average time in topgear and he did have good lines in Gambon. but he sucks in Hammerhead :P
