love the part where the older lady loves Mötely Crüe and 5FDP. Not even a fan of either band, just like the concept of someone old enough to be a grandmother being that much of a badass. She's got some lucky grandkids, and if she doesn't have any yet, those kids will be lucky as fuck whenever they're born. Stay fucking metal until your face melts like mercury. Liquid. Fucking. The older people in the video and the Motorhead guy made me so happy. Kids today listening to the "Cool" music( 'Trap', 'Pop', 'EDM') just makes me sick. There's just something so amazing about Metal and the Metal community. One of my favorite metaphors is that life is like the pit: when someone goes down, you don't stomp on them, you pick them up and keep moshing. Stay Metal, Brothers and Sisters \m/

I'm a massive HP fan and Metal fan. Metal's my favorite genre of music and HP's one of my favorite franchises. I can easily see some characters in the HP world listening to Metal...I'll be the first to admit though that when those people said AC/DC is Metal...I wanted to punch them, at the very least.

The Harry Potter books are metal as fuck. Despite what Rowling claims, Harry Potter is loaded with all kinds of referrences to real world occultism and alchemy, if you know how to interpret her symbolism. Like when Voldemort feeds on unicorn blood to gain strength in Philosopher's Stone...that refers to the gruesomely metal practice of drinking the blood of virgins, as unicorns were a symbol of purity and virginity in European folklore. Much like the Brothers Grimm or Hans Christian Andeson's tales, there is a dark and morbid world of pre-christian lore and witchcraft beneath HP's whimsical facade.

JamesR it's actually fun mention HC Andersen, as he wrote in a very romantic period and wrote a lot of romantic poems and tales. Sometimes he went really dark like he wanted to escape. He was metal as fuck

I listening to everything from Johnny Cash to Darkthrone, from Protest The Hero do Nasum, from Powerwolf to Krisiun, and I still think that YEAH, AC/DC it's metal. Call it "hard rock", whatever! Crank a bit more of distortion and blast beat it, there goes metal. But still, as metal as Accept or Scorpion is too.

It’s a pretty standard response from folks who don’t know much about metal. I’d be shocked if they replied “Venom”, “Manowar”, “Sabaton” or “Dio”. Those who aren’t familiar with metal are more likely to respond by naming the more commercialised metal/rock bands.
