Welcome back to Hogwarts, talented witches and wizards! It's September and we are leaving the muggle world behind and boarding the Hogwarts Express again! It's time to get back to the library and STUDY. *CLICK TO VIEW MORE*
The Library is one of the oldest and grandest rooms in Hogwarts. It is located on the third floor of Hogwarts Castle and contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Overseen by the very strict (and unpleasant) Madam Pince as well as Mr. Filch at night, students are welcome to study, read and borrow books (most of the times).
I know you've got Hermione's homework planner during summer, it's time to take our your quill and parchment. Read, write, or enjoy the gentle rain in this beautiful library. Don't forget to get your Cloak of Invisibility ready, too...It's pretty late now and who's that dark figure coming through the door...?

I love the little details you put! Like how added rain in the windows, the flickering of the lamp, how the pages in the book actually flips, books flying by, and how when Filch came by you actually made it look like you put on the invisibility cloak! I just love these videos so much.

Woah I just noticed that the balcony figure is there at 2:47 AND 10:17. Who is it??? It looks like dumbledore. Edit: he shows up again at 17:56 right after filch shows up again. 32:54 green flash of light and then balcony figure show up almost the exact same time. I will not rest until I figure out who this person is. He shows up again at 50:50 He doesn’t show up again after that. I think it’s dumbledore but not knowing for sure makes me anxious.

Ok , imagine (Marauder's era) It's your O.W.L.S year and you are studying in the library where it is quiet and peaceful. After a few long moments of reading Defense against Dark arts you look around the library. The only sound is your page turning, remus's quill and Sirius's snoring. Opposite you Remus is sitting with his eyes narrowed in concentration and is writing the potions essay. Beside him Sirius has his head in his hands and is softly snoring. You then look at James you is staring at Lily with the same lovesick gaze. You softly sigh and shake your head as you see Lily not even giving a glance at your best friend instead is reading with Severus Snape. Beside you Peter is currently chewing his nails in boredom. Suddenly the bell for dinner rings causing James to came out of his trance, Sirius to wake up , Peter or stand up and Remus to pack away his things. You all excited the library but not before James asking"Will you go out with me Evans?"

Finally- something that will actually keep me studying. I used to study with music but I've started to learn that as I'm writing, it isn't exactly the best way of getting me to focus. Kind of distracting. Now I can feel like a hogwarts student instead of a stressed out, public highschool student.

Your cinemagraphs make reading and studying So Comfortable, So Enticing, So "Natural" - the knowledge just flows. And, I am not a newbie student, I am a "senior" with many decades of learning, and which continue to add to my knowledge base. I, too, look forward to the time spent with my nose in books, or creating illustrations with pencil/quill/charcoal before transferring them to my computer. All the while with your cinemagraphs playing in the background, assisting in creating a beautiful, peaceful medium which helps me learn and expand myself. Surprisingly, I've noticed there are no bleeps, bloops, or noises from any electronic devices in any one of your compositions, which is similar to the "real" Hogwarts (no student was ever seen with a smart phone or tablet). Your chosen sounds are all natural - footsteps, books being opened, pen/pencil/quills on parchment, rain, lights coughs, murmurs, etc. It seems everyone today is "hungry" for these simple experiences, revel in them, and are very thankful for these magical gifts. :) Thank you! PS - A grateful Thank You! also for setting up your videos without any loud and intrusive ads shocking a person back into the Muggle world. Your videos gently transition from one to another, without intruding or alarmingly waking a person up. Thank You! :D

I would pay a lot even for a single hour spent studying in the Hogwarts Library. The Gotique and Antique style of Hogwarts Castle is already so full of the strange and the mysterious that it makes the atmosphere of it all even more of a thrilling experience.

I would live in the Hogwarts library (or any other library like it). There is something about being surrounded by knowledge that makes me feel at home. That, and the smell of paper; the feel of the rich, mahogany wood; the flicker of burning candles; the soft but steady drone of the rain; the intense, resounding thunder; the flash of lightning; the joy and excitement of studying ancient tomes in solitude, undisturbed by the rest of the world. When I do homework or study, I really need to hear sound or music so that I can concentrate and work effectively. However, sometimes music distracts me from studying (it quite hard to continue studying when you extremely want to dance or sing ) . I used to watch videos on "white noise" and "thunderstorms," but this is so unique because there are multiple sources of sound (page flipping, doors creaking, fire crackling, footsteps, thunderstorms, voices, etc.). Plus the graphics are so beautiful and cozy, and I love the attention to detail. There's something about these videos that motivate me to study like no other. I put the video on full screen, plug my headphones in and get to work. I swear I feel like Hermione when I study using these videos. Please make more Harry Potter themed ones--they are my absolute favorite! Amazing work!!! ❤️

This is fantastic! It quickly jumped to one of my favorites of yours. The sounds are relaxing but I also love the animated details like the invisibility cloak, Filch walking around with his lamp, the book pages turning and books flying around, the shadow figures on the top ledge, the rain on the windows, etc. Your videos are becoming things you need to also watch and just not listen to. I kind of hope you go back and refresh some of your other older videos. It would be such a pleasure to see what else you come up with.
