Our emblem is the serpent, the wisest of creatures; our house colours are emerald green and silver, and our common room lies behind a concealed entrance down in the dungeons. Its windows look out into the depths of the Hogwarts lake. We often see the giant squid swooshing by - and sometimes more interesting creatures. We like to feel that our hangout has the aura of a mysterious, underwater shipwreck...
Ambitious, cunning and strong Slytherin students sleep in their dorms off the common room, in ancient four-posters with green silk hangings. During the night it is possible to listen to the lake water lapping against the windows. The walls were decorated with Slytherin crests. Medieval tapestries depicting the adventures of famous Slytherins cover the walls.
Dear traveler, no matter if you are a Slytherin or not, you were smart enough to get the password to get in. You've earned our respect. Let's sit by the giant windows and listen to the gentle breathing rhythm of the Great Lake. How soothing, how calming. Do you see the magical creatures passing by? Enjoy your stay, but keep your eyes open. With our house's history, you never know which dark wizard is going to walk in the door...

I love this so much being a Slytherin myself, I wanted to re recommend a place again because the video I commented on has been taken down. I was wondering if you could make the Mash 4077, with the helicopters and people running by maybe in the swamp or on the compound. (I’m not being pushy or trying to be irritating I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t forgotten) and my friend actually had the idea of doing Warehouse 13, the show from syfy like in the warehouse since nobody else has done it. I don’t want to tell you what to do but I can’t think of anyone who could do it better or as good. You’re videos are amazing to study to and amazing for background noise when you’re home alone. I'm a slytherin too and I'd say the only common room that comes close to ours is the Hufflepuff one because it's close to the kitchen 😂

I’m a Ravenclaw, and I can agree. Although I do think that each house has a unique thing to its common room. Hufflepuffs have a lot of plants and are next to the kitchen, Ravenclaws have a starry ceiling (which I think is soo cool) and a nice view, and Gryffindors’ common room is really cozy. I know that no one asked, but I just wanted to state that.

Just a cute little imagine!! You look up from your book in the library, having been lost within its pages, and you realize just how much time has passed. It’s dark, and you’ve definitely missed dinner. You shut your book and put it back, collecting your loose parchment and quills before sleepily stumbling about to the dungeons. You mutter the password, and make your way into the common room, which is all but deserted. You walk to your dormitory, which is already filled with your roommates, all having fallen asleep long before you entered the room. You change quickly out of your robes and into pajamas, stretching and yawning as you climb into your four poster, drawing the curtains around the bed so no one would disturb you. You leave a small crack in the curtains so you can stare out the window, you swear you’ve seen that giant squid and you’re determined to see it again, whenever it swims by next. You yawn again, your eyes starting to get heavy, and get under the covers. You stare out the window, listening to the ebb and flow of the lake as it gently laps against the glass. You begin to drift off, and as you’re closing your eyes, you think you see tentacles swim past the window.

I love the Hogwarts ASMR rooms so much! I'm a Gryffindor but the Slytherin dorm/common room is by far the most interesting and unique (I still love the warmth and comfort of Gryffindor's though). This one really sells the idea that you're underwater, love the Merpeople and the giant squid in the background too :)

I love the subtle hints of scribbling on parchment and the turning of pages. And the bubbly sound of water, and the addition of the merpeople and giant squid. It's all so immersive!

Oh this is super cool! I'm the BIGGEST fan of the slytherin common room. It's my go to for any deep studying. I must have replayed that video over 50x this summer (studying for a big entrance exam). But I'm in love with this cinemagraph and the new sounds. I can see myself really getting used to this one!
