This would have been a lot better if you would have inserted pictures of the film so we could see exactly what you're talking about. I know I hadn't seen the movies in years and couldn't really put the images to the places.

We did a Harry Potter tour in Great Britain a number of years ago. There were only 2 movies, and book 4 came out while we were touring. But it was great fun.

I went to Claremont Square a couple years ago when I was in London, it was beautiful. I also read about the other places mentioned in the video but that was after my trip so I wasn't able to visit the rest!

JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, had a very depressing backstory before she started writing her first novel. She dropped out of college at 17 years old, and a couple of years later her mom died from a disease. After that she suffered a miscarriage. She did eventually get married, but her husband abused her. She did have a successful pregnancy that resulted in a baby girl...but shortly after her daughter was born she got divorced and was a single mother on welfare. Then she was diagnosed with severe depression and almost committed suicide when she was 30 years old. She decided against it and focused on the one thing she could do better than anything else, which was writing stories. She wrote Harry Potter and became a famous author!

I was in London just a week before this video and I walked right past or maybe a block away from these locations without recognizing them. I did see the grate in front of an alley right next to Leicester Square tube station though, that was an entrance to Diagon Alley in one movie.

Another Fact about Kings Cross is that in most of the films the Hogwarts Express and it's locomotive, 'Hogwarts Castle' AKA Alton Hall is facing the wrong direction, towards London not towards the North and the station Exit!

Also of note... it is said that under one of the platforms [some think platform 10] at Kings Cross station, is where the Iceni warrior Boudicea body is said to lay in folklore after the Battle of Watling Street. Her warrior horde of over 200,000 strong were wiped out by Roman leader Tacitus. it is said that she drank poison to die with her warriors after the defeat of the Britons.

Greengock Bank ( spelt wrong ) was the Australian High commission at the Aldwych They Built the toilets opposite horse guards The Sweet shop is off St Martins Lane , where they also used a small alley for the Market scenes too I worked for The Big Bus Tours London for 20 years and they had a Harry Potter Walk every day 1 o'clock Traf sq . Bump into a guide and I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction

There's is a plaque on platform 9 saying 9 3/4 with a floor sign please stand back. The toilets must me magic as you'd see all the staff using them 2 much
