Great question! Let me double check the bulb we used. The first bulb we used was quite low in light, and I needed more light, so we got a brighter one. But I will say, there is some degree because of the armillary aspect that blocks light. For us, the light we lose is up to the ceiling. Everything below it is lit well with the newer bulb we used, but above has just a bit more blockage than before ... if that makes sense. 😄 But I'll double check the exact bulb we have in it, right now we've changed bulbs for halloween. So once I record the final decor vid for that (today), I'll let ya know! If you're in the discord group at all, I can always do some tests with different bulbs and share a video there. I'm always happy to help! 😊

I just took a look at it and it doesn't seem capable of working on a slanted ceiling. 😞
