As an American, you would not be expected to curtsy. You have a President & you are not a ‘subject’ of a king/queen. MM was however joining the Royal family & therefore expected to curtsy to the Monarch. I live in Sussex (England) & the sooner the government removes their Dukedom Sussex titles, the better as they embarrass a lovely part of England. I have absolutely no idea what that fool thought she was attempting, but to show such disrespect is unforgivable. Harry was spineless absolutely bloody spineless.

I am Bolivian, I do not have extensive knowledge about the culture of British royalty; but I was brought up to respect the customs and traditions of the place I visited or live (currently Sweden). It is a disgrace that a person, a woman who claims to be "a model of bravery demanding respect for her 'origin'" does not show the same respect for the family she has chosen to belong to, regardless of whether they are royalty or not. Every family is a culture and whether or not this person is a compulsive mythomaniac, they are also spoiled and ungrateful. Respect is chosen to the same extent that it is lavished. Very actress or not, very mixed race or not, it doesn't matter! I am a Latina living in Scandinavia. I have learned the customs, I respect and value them and I give them respect. My rights end where my responsibilities begin.

@@debra7699 I read that if the Duke and Duchess titles are removed (which would be done via an act of Parliament), then H would retain and revert to the Princely title, thereby allowing his wife the right to be titled 'Princess.' The 'Prince' title could be revoked only under circumstances of treason. Alternatively, the title could be put into abeyance. It's all very complex.

The difference was that her father got her interviewed. In the interview she gives none of her classmates any credit. I think this set the paradigm of her taking credit for everybody's work.

Remember when he said to O - "I didn't realize I was trapped until I met Meghan" yeah because SHE slipped into your skull and planted things, making you think you were in danger.. She is horrible. She plays on every weakness he has - and seems to get off on it. Totally sick.

MEGHAN INSULTS THE QUEEN! Those two deserve each other because Meghan also behaved horribly when she insulted the Queen with her exaggerated curtsy in which she ridiculed the Queen (worldwide), the country, the RF, the British people, and their history and culture! She has no shame, and all the while the traitor just sat there, saying nothing, looking like an idiot with no backbone and unable to put a stop to Meghan. Instead, he behaved with no integrity, honor, or respect toward his own grandmother whom he professed to love! Who do they think they are fooling? No one! One thing is for sure, they were made for each other.

She is despicable and he should have said something to her at that point but the idiot just sat there grinning at her. I hope it won't be long before they just disappear from the public and we in the UK certainly do not want them back here ever. When they left they wanted their privacy in the USA so they should just get on with it but the pair of them are attention seekers who are both SO JEALOUS of William and Catherine who have what Megs wanted.

There are a lot of royals in Europe that came unprepared for their jobs. Our queen Maxima was a career woman in finance from Argentina who lived in NYC, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was an account manager in advertising in Australia, Prince Daniel of Sweden was a gym studio owner, Queen Letizia of Spain was a tv news anchor, and the list goes on. They were all hunted by the (international) press. They learned how to do their new duties, learned the most challenging languages, learned about etiquette, moved away from their home country and family and found their place among their in-laws. And you know what? They all dealt with it without whining.

Carmel you are so right a true Beauty was Princess Grace of Monaco, and she did give up everything ,she had it all she was an Amazing Hollywood actress, not an unknown and she did give it all up for love with dignaty, no promoting herself and whining, She was a shining example on how to succeed in life with no ulterior motives.

@@jeanclare7011 Grace is my cousin, and you're very right. She had a tough time for many years, but she never complained. She had an entire new language to learn! She was told by the staff that the flowers she picked and beautifully arranged for a guest had to be thrown out because "these are funeral flowers!". That was the staff yelling at her. She had multiple miscarriages, her dad died only four years after she married Rainier. But like Queen Elizabeth II (and Catherine, who Grace has a lot in common with - both had *extreme* shyness to overcome) , she always represented the Principality beautifully and her loss was felt from Monaco to Hollywood to Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and all over the world. No fancy Kings and Queens came to her wedding, but they damn sure were at her funeral. ♥️

@@jeanclare7011 If you haven't already, watch Grace in "High Society". I think Hollywood was never sure what to do with her, her films with Hitchcock are usually mentioned as her best work (Rear Window is my fave) . But in HS, she's so funny. She sings! She and Bing won a Gold Record. It's hard to not wonder what else we would have seen from her if she had made different choices. But she found ways to be creative and really found her place in Monaco.
