It’s good to have local touring you and introducing you to local dishes. Usually when I see foreigners doing it on their own specially when trying street food, they end up eating the wrong thing or given a wrong description of the food when everything gets lost in translation.

The girl said she's from Albay not albaw.....Albay is from Bicol Region where the worlds famous perfect cone volcano (Mt. Mayon) located, you should visit that place too in Legazpi Albay, Bicol.....this volcano is very active and just recently made a minor eruption and good to watch at night flowing lava on its caldera.....Check it out....

Harry when i was a boy about 50 years ago we used to play with those two balls on the string. I dont remember the name of them but the object was to have them come together at the top and bottom so you had to move your hand in an up and down motion to accomplish this.

Eating "street" food is so much fun and cheap! Try everything, if you don`t like it you wasted maybe 1$ but you got the experience and taste to remember. Go down side streets and you find vendors seeling BBQ all the time. Just have a beer ready to wash it down!

Harry, i think the best Filipino food are the ones you had at Singing Cooks and Waiters, Manam and Locavore on your first visit here. The ones you had in this vid are just street food and snacks. And i'm surprised you didn't look for your favorite Ube (our Purple Yam). I remember you loved it before!

Harry sire, you should taste the best and original lomi in Batangas province. The ones in Manila and other places is not as good as the original lomi in batangas 😊

The balls on a string were called clackers in the here in the States, they were banned a long time ago. Considered dangerous, I guess for the same reason it says do not drink on drain cleaner. Lots of eejits.
