As an aerospace design engineer I understand your overall comments about the product, yet I'm dubious that you've ever met a product in which you did not believe you could have designed to be significantly better :)

When I first went self-employed, I used homeowner grade tools for about 2 to 3 years. Some of them are excellent value for money, and earned me the money to acquire pro equipment! If you're only doing your own garden, they are all you need!!
