transpose smartmask is what i was looking for which is similar to blender's 'expand mask by normals' which is super useful for the work im doing

you explaining amazing man, I'm working with ornamental details on extracted meshes and always struggling with UVs and retopo.., would be amazing if you can make a video about UVs and stuff like that

Hi (: A tutorial about ,,brush menu depth mask,, would be great. There are some videos about it, but none of them actually explain clearly how the depth mask innermask outtermask diagram works and why.

Is there any way to reset the Color Menu to its initial state? It is stuck on FillObject MASKED! Restarting will not reset it in both my older ZBrush 2022.8 and the newer ZBrush 2023. I haven't discovered a cure yet, sadly. Bet it is a simple thing. If anyone knows, I would be very grateful. Maybe I just have to uninstall and reinstall?

Zbrush 2022 has these guidelines drawing on the model in mask brush mode. How do you turn off the guidelines for masking?

why hitting does "clear mask" makes "view mask" button go to OFF position?

Since clear mask is actually erasing your mask there is no mask to view so it defaults to the off position

@@hartgameart I thought it will always be in ON position even if there is no mask on the model. In other words, if I draw a mask, then switch off the "View mask" button and try to draw another mask, it springs back to ON position. Doubt cleared. Thank you Bro.
