I tried to do a long routine and I just couldn’t keep up. Struggled with large amounts of small acne on my chin and t-zone for years (super oily skin). Now I just use the tatcha deep cleanse with my pmd slowly and gently every morning and night, the water cream, and sunscreen. My pimple problems are practically nonexistent at this point other than a rare one every other month or so. It cleared up my stubborn blackheads on my nose too. It’s not cheap stuff but I’m saving money in the long run since I’m not constantly searching and buying new products anymore. Until my skin changes, this is my dream team. I wish everyone well on their skin journey✨🙏🙏

I just opened my first bottle of A-Game 10, too! I think it caused me to purge, but it also could have been allergies to tree pollen in the water at the cottage 🤷♀️ Rob from Mad About Skin mentioned this past week that Geek & Gorgeous is coming out with a 2% Salicylic Acid. The hype is very real.

I did get the foreo during the sale. My favorite from Haruharu is the black rice toner. I also have the serum. It's good also. I use the original and it doesn't cause any sensitivity

I adore Haruharu almost in total. They were the first company I bought an entire line of. The black rice line is some of my very favorite products of all time. I, personally love the smell. I had a super small sample of LaMer and the smell is so close..maybe identical. I seriously cannot say enough about these products.

I have been using hemp oil as my oil. I have the wonder unscented toner on my list . I should have picked up one of those kate summerville eradikates I got one of those nice hormonal pimples from that loving mother nature..lol I cant wait to see seoris I noticed it like hit or miss with the fragrance in their products either none or a hole lot and I have been trying to go mostly fragrance free.

Whew you are so right with Sioris!! It’s almost jarring how differently the products smell. One is unscented, the next is BAM tons of smell lol!

Retinoids/actives can cause dry eye syndrome for some so always be careful when using it around them.

Hello Hon,love your Video..😃Just wonder for I wanted to try Haruharu…then you mentioned that using Korean Skincare-you dont get active ingredients?Just wonde what yoh meant by this…hope you can do a Video for this for I think this is a good topic to have a video have…😀

So within Korea, the regulations on active ingredients are a bit more strict. For example, salicylic acid can be used at up to 0.5%, while it can be used at a higher percentage in the US. However, some Korean companies have also started to make stronger active products (great example: Isntree now has a 2% salicylic acid toner - and it’s AMAZING, I prefer it to Paula’s Choice!) But they cannot actually sell that within Korea, and yet they can ship it to other countries that permit that percentage. Hopefully that helps explain it! ☺️

I've only used the black rice ha cream and I wasn't a fan. It left a waxy film on my skin. I was looking for a light day cream but it wasn't at all. But there's only that and the black rice oil available here, so I would like to try some more products if I could. I'm the same, as in I don't get my strong actives from Korean skincare. I find I use Korean products to keep my skin healthy and hydrated etc. I really do love almost everything I have used so far.

Exactly yup, K-Beauty keeps my skin looking free from irritation and just generally more radiant. Actives help me cut down on the breakouts! It’s a fantastic combo

Tbh same as the rest - it’s a similar base concept for all of their black rice line. Great antioxidants, anti-inflammatory- which helps indirectly with acne. Unless of course you’re allergic to lavender oil, in which case it’s one to avoid. Hoping to see all the products get a frag-free option! ☺️

Hi, I tried that one, and although I don't have acne prone skin, I did find it left a waxy film on my skin afterwards. And I seemed to sweat under it. I have normal to dry skin and I thought I would like it, but I didn't at all. If this is any help for you. 💚

Shouldn’t Retinol be uses on dry skin? I have never tried retinol serum, only cream. So no idea

You definitely can! I always tone first personally, but I’d say it’s a YMMV situation.

Could you do a video or an explanation on what parts per million means ? I hear it all over and I know it’s a good thing but I don’t fully understand what it is.

It’s essentially the same thing as percent, in that percent expresses a fraction. So 1000 parts per million, as a fraction: 1000/1000000 = .001. Convert that to a percent and you have .1% I suspect that it’s used in Korea in place of how we use percentages here. Hope that helps!

WORD TO THE WISE: Unless you KNOW that lavender does not bother your eyes or have already tried the scented HaruHaru products, get the unscented. I absolutely love lavender and have never had any issues with it, but the scent in these scented versions is sooooooo strong that even just putting these on my face (even staying far away from my eyes) makes my eyes water. It's like the fumes from the scent just irritates my eyes and makes them feel scratchy and watery. So bizarre. I absolutely love the products though so I will be purchasing some of the unscented ones. Thank you HaruHaru for listening!!

I had the same experience! I love lavender and yet the scent of the toner was OVERWHELMING to me, almost to the point of nausea.

I think I will order the haru haru HA serum vs the usual toner next time and give it a try. You may have already discussed this but my memory is poor, so please excuse. Have you used rx tretinoin? Do you choose to use otc for the sake of reviewing for your content? Or do you prefer them over rx? Just curious. I’m on my 2nd month of curology after finishing my mother in law’s tretinoin she stopped using lol. Liking it so far since they added in 2 other ingredients I was already using. I’ve never had acne per say, but get the usual monthly hormonal acne along my jawline. Since I started tretinoin I feel those deep pimples forming into bumps, but they never get red or white head. It’s like they just absorb and go away. Is that weird? Never had this happen so jw if it’s the tret or another explanation? Btw your skin looks SO good since recovering from that skincare trial. ☺️

Yep, it’s that I suspect the tret would overpower everything else, in addition to making it hard to review other actives. Nonetheless, if I didn’t have a channel, I’d absolutely be using tret! Your experience makes sense as it does act against both acne and the signs of aging - such a great ingredient!

I have one hell of a evening! Someone pulled up in front of my house and shot at the house directly across the street. It was right in front of my house. We went and retrieved the video surveillance and then they came back and shot again. Then police and all that. No one was hurt. Thank God. I tell you, I love my middle class neighborhood. Never has this happened before. I have a headache and am so wired I can't sleep. I hope they catch whoever is trying to kill my neighbors! FML.👀
