Update to Standardized Testing Policy
Starting with those applying to the Harvard Class of 2029 (entering fall 2025), Harvard College will require the submission of standardized test scores from applicants for admission as part of the whole-person application review process that takes a whole-student approach. As I’m watching these videos, I’m seeing a lot of students investing a lot of money to check off lists, then feeling disappointed that they don’t get in. I wonder if schools can see through this and maybe don’t want to fill a class with one type of student. Try to have fun, love learning, and be yourself!!

What's worse is some students get a free pass just because they check one box. The one box no one else gets to check. Now they get to hide it too. If only the admissions were fair and let *everyone* have fun, love learning and be themselves. If only the most passionate and qualified students weren't penalized for the benefit of that favored group🥲I hope more students see through this 🙂

oh dear, Your mother really wants your best interest. Was your mother not compatible with your dream and her dream? I mean studying something you like at Harvard, for example, or finding a point of compatibility together. You are still young to decide about university. I have two years left to graduate from high school, and I find that I do not know much about what my dream is. You will change a lot as you grow older. So you can postpone talking about university until you reach high school. good luck !

Ask for people who knows you well, family, employers, friends to write you recommendation letters, this is taken into account when u apply.

@@fatmakamal413 If u got scores that are up to their standards, yess definitely, cuz it'll be a very rational data set that can set u appart and put u among top 1% + Harvard are no longer test optional starting class of 2029, so to have good shots to pass that preliminary academic sorting, it's always good to aim for 1450+ in SAT

if she gets enrolled and u have a salary under 85000 then she gets a free scholarship, and if u have a salary of 85000 to 150000, then u have a scholarship but u have to pay 0-10 percent
