Za Ha In this episode, he talked about a dark time in his life. When he talked about it, I thought, wow, he was really depressed. The signs were there.

This episode is epic. This is a shortened sequence, but when you see him standing in the rain, with a spear, in the lightening storm, waiting for the sacrifice,..... wow. This is way beyond the usual travelogue documentary.

Those are traditional music instruments. Search iban/ sarawak, one of many tribes in malaysia.

If someone is allow to kills the pig meaning that he is honouring guest and the most welcome person to long house. To welcome him only by sacrifice of the pig, it is shows that the Iban ppl really please him as brotherhood. Eventually it is honouring gesture.

Well he can't be sad really. He says he's non veg so and countless animals over the years are killed just so that he can eat them. He's being hypocritical if he's sad really. If he was a vegetarian and did this then I would have felt complete sympathy for him.
