When People Magazine named Joe Lando one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world, it was a blessing and a curse. Being typecast as a heartthrob can be severely limiting for an actor, because often the “all looks, no talent” assumptions are made within the industry. Joe Lando eventually successfully overcame the “hunky mountain man” screen persona he acquired on “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” - and deservedly so. He’s a fine actor and more importantly, a kind, humble, intelligent human being. I greatly enjoyed having him on our show.

Another super interview, Harvey!! So nice hearing your chat with the fabulous Joe Lando! I still enjoy Dr Quinn MW, which used to run two episodes every morning on the START TV channel. I think they've reduced it to only one ep per day, all week long. (i don't have cable & enjoy it via antenna.) The historical accuracy of DQMW and the cast were fantastic! I particularly loved the storyline that took Sully to Washington DC where he had to be broken out of jail, hobnob w/ the President and clear his name. Joe - "the bear lip syncing." 😆😆😂😂 Loyalty is also important to me, Joe! Also, Joe's placid yet dependable & strong nature always shines through. I have seen him in other interviews and have always appreciated his kind, humble, modest demeanor.
