In a heart-wrenching incident, a young KZfaq couple from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, took a fatal leap from a high-rise building following a heated argument. Garvit Singh, 25, and Nandini Kashyap, 22, were in a live-in relationship and known for their collaborative short films on KZfaq.
The couple, along with five teammates, had traveled to Bahadurgarh, Haryana, to shoot another short film. They rented an apartment on the 7th floor of Ruhil Residency and were residing there temporarily.
On the fateful night of April 13, 2024, Garvit and Nandini returned to their rented apartment after a late-night shoot. Reports suggest that a disagreement ensued between the couple, leading to a heated argument of undisclosed nature.
Tragically, the argument escalated to a point where Garvit and Nandini made the shocking decision to jump from their apartment at approximately 6:00 am the following morning.
Upon learning of the incident, residents of the building promptly informed the Haryana Police, who rushed the couple to the hospital. However, despite efforts to save them, both Garvit and Nandini were pronounced dead by doctors.
The Haryana Police have initiated an investigation into the matter and have not ruled out the possibility of foul play. The bodies of Garvit and Nandini have been sent for post-mortem examination, and their respective families have been notified of the tragic incident.
Neighbors of Garvit in Dehradun revealed to reporters that he had abruptly left his home for Bahadurgarh without informing his family after receiving a phone call on the night of April 12, 2024.
Forensic experts have collected evidence and samples from the apartment and the site of the fall, while the police are meticulously reviewing CCTV footage to piece together the events leading up to the tragic incident.
