I think you should say steph has had the most stable team of the superstar's. Golden state is such a good organization and they drafted the talent and kept good depth on the team. But I think if we want to look at career you could say LeBron has had the most superstars 19 seasons will do that. I think its easily KD that has had the most help from other high level superstars then anyone else, he has been on one of the top teams every year since 2010/2011. KD has had only the first 2 maybe 3 seasons of his career without help.

27:40 ok my guy just talking now Steph Klay and Dray did not pop at the same time 2013 who were the guards in the league, he wasn’t producing to be an all star at that time 18 pts is solid no doubt but that year you had CP3 (clippers “contending”) Kobe (arguably his best season) James Harden (I don’t even need to go there) Russell Westbrook (who at that time clearly was making more impact than Klay) and Tony Parker (who was in the midst of helping the Spurs make a back to back finals run). We gotta keep context there in debates we can’t just throw numbers out cause all numbers ain’t the same when it comes to impact

Saying Steph has had the most help is really lazy. Sorry bro that's just lazy. Steph, Kay, Draymond all drafted to the same team. KD came to the Warriors, but had to get permission from Steph first. You're trying to criticize Steph for being a good player that didn't leave and join forces with another team. Unlike Harden, LeBron, Kylie, CP3, Kawahi, PG, and almost all exce a couple have left to join another team to try and win.
@sydguitar99
@sydguitar99 2 жыл бұрын
It's not lazy, the organization you were drafted to is a part of that help. A lot of players get drafted into shit situations and Curry I'm sure if his Rookie contract expired and the organization was ass, would've left. Plus it was so obvious that Klay was going to be an All Star, he made a giant leap every season, same with Dreymond
@JasonInTampa
@JasonInTampa 2 жыл бұрын
@@sydguitar99 You are correct to say that the Organization matters....However you cannot blame Steph for that nor can you knock him for it. Steph was drafted to a good organization that had faith in him as a player and he rewarded that organization with 5 consecutive finals appearances. Steph, Klay, and Draymond were the engine to drive this team. He never left because he didn't have to. Nobody ever gives that same criticism to Dirk, D-Wade, Tim Duncan, Jordan, Lary Bird, Magic etc.

Steph has had the most stable team within the last 10 years I’ll say that GS is just that good of an organization. Y’all damn sure barely talk about all the help Bron has had. Steph has just had a very stable and well functioning team. We aren’t suppose be punishing this man for sticking with the same organization. An organization that rebuilt itself and made themselves attractive to someone like KD. It’s a team sport. Perhaps KD or LeBron but either way, Curry is an amazing player and the best 3pt shooter ever. But he has always had a bunch of help. Green, KD, Klay, Kerr, is a super strong core, and it wouldn't work without Curry but it is alot of help. LeBron also has had a bunch of help that wouldn't work without him, but you would always take Green, Klay, and KD over Wade/ Bosh, Kyrie/Love, or Davis.

You crazy if you take Klay over Bosh and Wade. Bro stop. Bosh and Wade were leading teams before joining Lebron. Wade had already been a finals MVP and was the reason Miami won their 1st chip. In what world has Klay Thompson ever been better than Wade. Klay has never avg 25 in his career during any season. There is no superstar on the planet that didn't need help around them.

The argument was the in the last 10 years curry has had the best rosters. Picking a specific year like 2019 kawhi or 2015 Lebron isnt the argument, its over the 10 years on average curry has had the best rosters. 100% facts.

in my opinion Steph should never have been considered a superstar. Superstar is the guy who solohandedly gives you an appropriate result. In Steph's case he's still better than Westbrook and probably AD, but no one else really. Jokic gives you a playoffs spot no matter what, Embiid gives it, so does Luka, LeBron, KD, Harden, Giannis. Curry shouldn't be compared to those guys. He fooled the entire NBA community by putting a really great box office for 1,5 years in regular seasons, giving you Globethrotters vibe, but even after that, he's not dominant as a solo force. He needs everything goes his way to even make the playoffs, and he needs everybody healthy as well to win a first round matchup. In 23 playoffs series he did play he really only showed dominance in a Portland 2019 series against one of the worst defenses of all time with injured Nurkic as well. After all those years trying to defend him and hopefully waiting him to show up all I see is he is Mike Conley level of player without Draymond. I completely fine with him putting 25ppg in playoffs but in reg season already?

Ive been yelling this since 2015. Curry is the most overrated player in the last 10 years. Yes his the best 3pt shooter. But when his off. He does nothing else. Great ball handling?!? Hellll no. Curry is a turnover machine. Curry isnt clutch. Curry is a front runner. Curry faws get covered up by Draymond and klay. Besides shooting. What does curry do better then klay or dray? Nothing!!
