Declaration of Tawheed - The Sufi's Chant
The Arabic wording in this poem is widely recited and a succinct expression of belief in tawheed (the oneness of Allah Almighty) and love for Rasoolullah (Peace be upon him) . The meaning is as follows: My Lord, Allah the Exalted, is sufficient for me. There is none in my heart besides [the love/belief of] Allah Almighty. Salutations of Allah Almighty be upon the light; Muhammad (Peace be upon him). There is none worthy of worship but Allah.
This is only a recital of the first verse. The full poem can be found in the book 'Naat For a New Generation' on pages 3-4.
