In this video, I will answer all your questions about creating SVG's in Hatch Embroidery Software V2, and how to create a fabric cut file in Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Cameo and the Brother Scan N Cut Canvas Design Space.
The first thing you need to do is to create the SVG in Hatch Embroidery software. If you are creating a new applique design, this process is now very simple! Create your applique, and then create the cut file and save it. Hatch will know which line is the cut file and create the SVG from that.
This will not work if you have a stitch file, or a purchased file. The applique parts are not coded for applique - so Hatch doesn't know what to do with it. So, our simple solution will not work. But don't worry, with the help of Corel Draw, we can still easily do what we want!!! delete all other parts of your embroidery design and only keep the cut line. then go into the graphics section and export your design to svg!! if you are making a JPEG, make sure that you make your lines thick enough to make a good cut!!
I then show you how to import and create a cut file in Cricut Design Studio, Silhouette Cameo and Brother Canvas! All youi have to do is place your fabric on the mat and get cutting!!
