This band is a mix of every band I listened to from 2000 to 2012. A mix of Poison The Well Embodyment Vex Red NAILS Dillinger Escape Plan NIN Random Noise Artists. This World Is Going To Ruin You is one of my favorites of all time AOTY 2022. 💯

Off the charts stuff amazing I really only got into them this year I slept on them like most of the current crop I grew up on nu metal and the whole metalcore scene it then became boring. I didn’t bother discovering new bands but holy hell I’m so glad I have rediscovered my passion this new scene of nu metalcore bands doing what vein fm are doing and adding elements of nu metal it’s completely fresh adding samples this band having a dj with the style they are playing it’s not something we have really seen before it’s refreshing and simply amazing.

@@rorz999 are they not using him anymore? I didn’t mind at all but I can’t lie, I much preferred them before they kind of changed gears/added all the samples/scratching/whatever. Again, I don’t hate it, but would be cool to see them do some shows without it again.

@@chromegnatsI don't know if/why he's no longer in the band, but if he's gone I think it's a huge shame personally, as he really added something to their sound that set them apart from other bands. He knew his stuff about *good* underground electronic music, which shone through in his contributions, and also the remix album. It's rare that hardcore/metal bands get it right when they add electronic elements, most of them end up adding horrible mid-range synth noises like you'd find in brostep etc. Vein however got it right - jungle breakbeats, weird vocal samples, glitchy IDM, gabba kicks etc
