Thank you for making a longer video this time. I know it can be a bit tedious for you to be so multifunctional . You do really good at juggling all your rolls. I truely admire your very good strong work ethic. Stay safe and work smart like I see you do each time you post. You don't ever come across as a know it all. Tom in Minneapolis.

I was so impressed and delighted when you mentioned keeping your back straight. Smart man. As a nurse who took care of her back religiously (although that’s not always possible in this field) I still ended up with significant back issues. Taking care of your ‘young’ back now will pay in the long run.

I am now 72, but l remember being a teen and helping my uncle spread manure in the spring on his family farm here in Northern Michigan. We had a 1938 John Deere B, and pulled a spreader for him that had a rope to deploy. The thing l learned the hard way was you never turned around to check the status of the load, as on a regular basis a piece would get flung forward, not back. Too funny!😖🫣😂

Some years, when it works, we have a silage bunk empty. We put first cut or rye or triticale in it then by the time silage is ready it’s empty again. It saves bags, time, money and plastic. Just throwing it out there. You’ve inspired me, just returning the favour. I have a love hate relationship with bags and I love drive over piles more now so we are transitioning over to them in our bunks for smaller crops. Thanks for your videos and content.

I can't get over how fast you can run that disk bine and it's cutting beautifully. I would guess we could only mow half that fast with an old siècle mower and still your stubble looks really clean & even. Is it the machine or the farmer? Probably a little of both. 😉 I hope your family is doing well - I bet Jack is getting big. Soon he'll be mowing the rye...Thanks for sharing.

Man, that mower is a hungry hippo for sure. Back in the day when I mowed hay in comparison, it would look as if I were in slow-motion. You're one busy, hard-working man. So many think farming is easy, if there was an ounce of truth in that everyone would be doing it. The hardest thing for most people is getting out of bed early, not to mention working way past sundown. Can't just turn it off after 8 hrs can ya?

I live in north west Washington state next to the Canadian border and I live next to a farm and their fields is in front of my house so every spring they would cut grass and they had this exact discbine and I loved it the set up they had was awesome the tractor they used was a john deere 4455 AWD with duals and the discbine behind it I saw them cut the huge grass field from morning to half day I would spend all day watching them farm the smell of the fresh cut grass in the spring was the best thing ever. I think they sold the discbine cause I don't see it anymore but those were the days young kid loving farming. now I'm 16 don't watch them as much when I do i watch them from my window. and to pick up the cut grass they used a john deere 6710 chopper with a dump wagon they had trucks they used to dump the grass in but growing up seeing them was fun.
