Jester's part starts around 8 minutes in. Have Gun - Will Travel is a TV Western series that ran from 1957 to 1963. Richard Boone played "Paladin" a bounty hunter. Not sure how long it will last before copyright czars step in. By the way - RIchard Boone about this time played Sam Houston to Jester's Jethro in John Wayne's "The Alamo". Jester, again , plays a slave to this Colonel Character. He felt he was paving the way for other black actors to get better roles.

Jester Hairston was internationally known for his achievements in choir music!! Music was his expertise. He was a giant in his main field, and had a wonderful voice. I saw him in 1969, and am still in awe!!!!! He had doctorates in music if I remember correctly.
