Do you know What number I can call or what can I do to report that a "Veteran Service Organization (VSO) maliciously misrepresented me with my claims and as a result my claims got denied.

Yes, definitely had a bad C&P after decision letter Dr. provider didn’t know what form to filled out had to search finding form and don’t believe questions asked was noted recorded incorrectly exam . Provided since shock on current condition . Thought it was all good

I'm 40%, have had numerous knee scopes, tendon graft and lastly an allograft, also fusion of my back l5 s1. This was all 29 years ago and as I'm aging its getting harder to get around. Anyway last exam was at a doc in a box medical place, doc told me I should be 70% and of course the va denied it. I've filed numerous times and the va always denies me a increase. Kind of given up, they certainly don't seem to want to help.

@@TheVeteranCoach thanks, I don’t really have any paperwork per say. I kinda get frustrated with it and throw it out, the dav and legion which I’m a member of offer no help, what’s funny is the Vietnam veterans association help with my first claim and bam I went to 40% and I’m not even a veteran of that era. This was back in the 90’s pre internet and first thing that guy told me was why are you drawing disability at the single rate when your married with 2 kids.

I got my rating letter. Was denied for my three claims. When THE exam was for hypertension only. The hypertension was granted but with a 0 rating. The other two were denied for non service connection. Most of the youtube video's I see getting rating are for PTSD and mental issues. I had a lousy C&P exam and called the 800 number and complained. No one tells you to call the White House number. FOIA just to get our own results of a C&P exam. For decades I never sought compensation from the VA. I'm 77 years old. Our records show we were on the ground in Vietnam in area's where agent orange was sprayed. One of the presumtive coditions was Hypertension. Just give us the rating stop making us feel like our service was worth nothing being over there. Why server your country when your treated like you not even worth a dime.

@@TheVeteranCoach jumping back into the Fight. Two years of this. Their our veterans. Who have waited way longer then me. Why does the VA punish us for our service. Why do these raters deny any veteran who has been in a combat zone and exposed to toxic chemicals. That does not show up for many decades. They should give us the rating we deserve. I'm done with DBQ'S, and NEXUS STATEMENTS. The raters and the VA are really not out to help us. Thank you for getting back to me.

I just filed for first time in October…am 53 yrs old..was only in 3 yrs /11B…I have things on my medical record and am using an experienced claim processor to do it…question is I really don’t have pains as of now on a daily basis of what’s in my records…like I had sciatic problem in back that started in basic and had some issues early in military but went away; had some issues with it years later at like 40 yrs old to where I couldn’t even lay down and sleep ( had to sit in chair) here it is 10 years later and I have no issues at all with it so what do I say about it? Sure we all get sore backs here and there from doing various things in life; but I really don’t have pains everyday in general so how do I conduct myself at C & P exam when talking to them about these things?? Besides proving that I have ringing in ears sometimes which is stated on claim but other things I’m talking about. Not sure how to talk about or deal with their questions without them thinking I’m wasting their time…Don’t want to lie about anything but at same time want to go thru process to be safe?? Any advice would be appreciated…thx

If you don't have current symptoms you may be rated at 0% (non compensatable) However, you can always file an increase later if your symptoms flare up or worsen.

I have had great C&P Exams BUT !!!! LAST one done by the VA, At Temple VA, NP NatashaLindsay C&P Exam introduced herself as a DR but... NOPE just a nurse . Was doing exams for Spinal Fushion, Hip, scars etc at the VA .. I had my 5 y/o with me . Long story. By the time i was done my kid was in tears! Linsay was yelling at me because i could not move my body the way she wanted me to.. She yelled at me for sitting a certain way ... LOL She tried sooo hard to provoke me. I walked out sooo pissed. I called my VSO right off .. I filed a complaint with VA Benefits. Called the White house hotline and filed a complaint! Added a MFR to my claim before she could finish.. I am now just waiting for a new C&P exam . I am putting her name out everywhere i can! DONT TAKE IT MEN&LADIES DONT !!!!!!

I had a bad c&p ( doc didnt even bother to look at some stuff i claimed, didnt use tools, etc..) and couldnt report since i am in a financial hardship and needed money asap , got approved for 60% but got denied on everything he didnt look at, should i appeal and get a new exam? Some of my claims are deferred and my case should be close soon (currently on prep, for decision for deferred ones).

Not all doctors are qualified to perform all exams. If it was contracted out to him, he/she is only allowed to evaluate what the VA told them to. If they are deffereded, they likely are still going to schedule your exams but are looking for a provider in your radius etc.

This doesn't sound like a bad C&P, rather a miscommunication or misunderstanding about what you were there to be evaluated on for that specific appointment.

@@TheVeteranCoach all my C&Ps are done as of now (according to ebenefits steps). i got denied on the claims the doctor looked at because my notification letter said she stated it was not connected to service. Im just confused how she made a decision on something she did not bother to looks at so idk if i should write a letter and post it on my evidence on ebenefits stating that or just appeal it after all my claims are done, thank you for the quick response!

The C&P examiner isn't the person who makes the decision of service connected or not, the VA rater does, but they do base a majority of decisions off what your C&P examiner says. If the examiner did not evaluate those conditions, the decision was made based on the evidence that you submitted with your claim. If you did not have a diagnosis on file, then you likely didn't receive an exam because, if there is no diagnosis they may deem that there is nothing to examine. (If it's not on paper, it doesn't exist)

@@TheVeteranCoach so if i did not go to medical during service and my examiner said “less likely than mot related to service” even if she did a bad c&p , i am out of options? I wanted a new c&p with a doctor that would examine me fairly or pay thousands to a private company as long as i could win my case. Thank you for the feedback

I submitted claim for increase for ankle condition.. i was in an out in 5 minute . She didnt even do a physical exam. Said she was goijg. To use the measurements on recrod...i got the dec in 3 days.. is it to late to comeplain

You can still file a complaint, and that may initiate a new C&P exam for you. You can also jump straight to an appeal, and write a personal statement/statement of disagreement as your new evidence.

@TheVeteranCoach yea I called them.. and they said because the decision is made.. Best option is to appeal supplemental and include a statement.. im going to have the VA doc to take measurements and submitt them.

@@Rshen11 That sounds like a solid plan. The VA may still request an additional C&P even with the included measurements, but the odds go down that they will need it. Best of luck, let us know if you need any advice

Why should it take longer to get a copy of a C&P evaluation just because the VA used a contracted company?

Reports have to be officially requested from contractors. Any C&P exams not done directly at the VA won't be uploaded into your VA Blue Button Report/records. You will have to submit a FOIA request. I have a video on the process here:

Get ur diagnosis symptoms and nexus squared away go into exam n get denied. Most VSOs are given permission to act on your behlaf, so this is a gray area in some caees. The White House Hotline is a great place to start, as you are given a tracking number for your complaint.
