Yeah my dad put this in the kitchen when they redid theirs and he always says how happy he is he used it 🤷🏼♀️ that's all I know about it haha ohh and the same thing about moisture...

Thats all we use but for future reference you are supposed to use atleast a 75 pound roller over it so the thinset fully adhears to both the back of the ditra mat and the subfloor leaving a completely smooth tight surface

I don’t think the guy who did our floors put this stuff in. Our kitchen tile started braking after only 4 months. It’s been almost two years and he still won’t come out to fix it.

Do i need to use joining tape where the decoupling membrane needs to be joined?

Use 5” Kerdi band over the joint line. 2 1/2” overlap on each side for proper waterproofing. Apply thinset over band and smooth
