I know the feeling. When Elizabeth didn’t choose Nathan, I was devastated. Since the love triangle could have gone either way up until the end, I believe whichever team lost was destined to feel misled. But like you, I love When Calls the Heart. I loved it before either Nathan or Lucas showed up and I realize that the same things I have always loved about it will remain regardless of the choice Elizabeth has made. I still have high hopes for Season 9 despite everything. I loved seasons 6-8, even though I thought I wouldn’t like the show after Jack died. And looking back at that also makes me realize that even if you don’t get the love story you were wanting, it can still be beautiful. Going into Season 9, I still want Elizabeth and Nathan to be happy as much as I ever have, I just recognize that their happiness isn’t going to be dependant on each other. I do believe Season 9 will bring them both happiness, and compelling new storylines, and that if you decide to continue following their journeys, they will be something worth watching, even celebrating.

Hello Lindsey. I was totally devastated when in one episode we were given the beautiful wedding of Jack & Elizabeth & then boom, Jack dies. I did understand why Daniel decided to leave WCTH, that was fine, but how was Elizabeth's storyline going to continue? Having a baby was good, but still not quite the same. I had a very hard time accepting Elizabeth & Rosemary becoming best friends, I almost didn't watch the show anymore. Rosemary was so ugly & spiteful to both Elizabeth & Jack, but I missed seeing what was happening with the rest of HV, so I continued to watch. When Lucas & Nathan were brought in, I tried to watch the 'Triangle' like a 'Who will Elizabeth choose' game. About the middle of Season 7, I decided I'd like her to choose Lucas. I like Nathan, just thought he wasn't the one for Elizabeth. Other issues that I wasn't happy with were: I didn't think Cody should have left the show just because of Lori's leaving, I didn't like Pastor Frank just getting written off & now, I'm getting a little tired of Carson & Faith's storyline. It's funny that sometimes I get frustrated with Bill because he can be gruff or jumps to conclusions, but don't we meet people in our lives that are like that? So, because I honestly Love all the actor's on WCTH, I have to remember that the writer's have to create so many storylines for different characters & hopefully satisfy their thousands of viewers, so do I let little issues stop me from watching or do I continue to watch a great show! I'll continue to watch because #1, it is one of the best shows on tv & #2, I really do Love what the show & it's stories represent. I understand why Nathan fans were upset, but Kevin McGarry has said he likes where Nathan's character is going to go, so wouldn't you want to watch even for that reason?

Hey Lindsey, as a Team Lucas person, I always saw L&E as endgame, but I also always assumed that Hallmark would put her with Nathan since he was a mountie. I was so sad watching S8 and seeing her date Lucas because I truly believed she was going to break his heart and pick Nathan. Anyway, the reason I told you all that is because I want you know that I truly understand how hard it must have been for you (and all of TN) when E picked L. And I also didn't like how the triangle was handled. Anyway, I would really encourage you to try and watch S9, because seeing Nathan & Allie move on would probably be super healing for you and all of Team Nathan. I know it would have been for me if it were the other way around.❤

There are a lot of cliffhangers from the Season 8 finale which should make interesting storylines this season - the pinkertons, the mayoral elections, the school, Bill and Molly, Henry, etc. I also think Nathan will have the most exciting storylines he has ever had, since his screen time won’t be spent pursuing Elizabeth. I definitely hope Rosemary and Lee will adopt a child - maybe someone Jack’s age so they can be friends :)

Infelizmente não posso fazer mais porque não falo português (meus comentários são todos do Google Translate, então espero que façam sentido).
