Not having to guy anything out was the biggest attraction to this for me. Plus not needing 12' between trees. Sheet of reflectix under the pad should get to to R-9

I'm so close to ordering one of these. I already have a couple of DreamHammocks and a Warbonnet. My wife disagrees, but I believe there is no such thing as "too many hammocks".

I'm glad I got to finally get accurate measurements. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable in there. I'm 6'4", so it would be tight. I've heard really good things about those though. Condensation may occur if you camp in storm mode. You'll have to give an update on that. Can't wait for the camping video 👍

Also, seam seal that center tarp connector stitching . When it rains it will get saturated and will leak into your sides through the shock cord.

The seam is taped from the vendor. But I've heard you should silicone the toggle attachments.

The XL is suppose to be 30x80, the standard is 24x 78. So you measurements was off by 3", unless a grave mistake was made by Haven.

Mine is the xl, I remember the width being 30” but cant remember the length. I posted it in the video.

@@LifeWithKernelLee I think so too! :) can you use it even without the poles actually ? They look very heavy and bulky ?! Do you know what Material this is and what’s their weight round about?

@@weisswurstfruhstuck8523 the poles is what gives it shape and will not work properly without them. The poles are aluminum and not sure how much they weigh.
