The plaintiff says the defendant’s large dog attacked her little dog and almost killed her, so she’s suing. The defendant says it’s a case of mistaken identity, since her dog is very friendly, never got loose, and never attacked anyone’s dog.

She can also look for clues of lying. Looking away for example. Or not answering directly. People lying will often skirt around a direct answer and tell lots of unecessary information. When you are lying then it may be hard to just say 'no' and keep your eyes looking at the judge. Some lie easier than others. Not sure about this defendant. Does she really say 'no'? She lists reasons why it couldn't be her dog, it is a 1 year old puppy and is very good natured etc. But does she actually refute the attack? I need to watch again to check. EDIT: I watched it again and she doesn't really show signs of lying. Either it was not her dog or she is a brilliant liar.

Yeah that part really got me vexed. Her sister doesn't seem like she's fibbing. Like if it clicks to her, that's the woman, then idk. etc. You can take mental notes of people's faces and bodies. That's why when you go the Supermarket, and you get that "a-ha" feeling, when you notice your old teacher or someone that used to be in your class etc., and depending on whom they are, you may or may not pretend not to notice them, or take a few minutes to, "Oh my god, I haven't seen you ages. Where have you been?", etc., type spiel, so yeah lol. I don't know if her sister reiterated that, or it got edited out but yeah. Hmm. smh.

Idk, but that sneaky smirk the defendant keeps displaying really bothers me. Idk if the judge seen it but either way she can’t just rule based on instincts or emotions (although unfortunately a lot of judges do). And also the wording that the plaintiff sister used is what made it seem like she was unsure. I wish the sister would have explained that she used the words allegedly because the defendant was denying it to be her. But she should’ve confidently explained that she could never forget that face, the smirk and the voice that she heard that day. I’m sorry they lost and I’m sorry if I’m wrongfully accusing the defendant because I do believe it was her.

When the small dog got attacked, why did the defendant leave her home to run across the street just to say "it's not my dog"? My daughter's 8 pound chihuahua/rat terrier mix was attacked by 2 100 pound mutts and had his ribcage and rear hips "shattered" (vets words) and he almost didn't make it. The animal hospital said he acted like he had no will to live to the point that they asked us to bring my daughter in to see if seeing my daughter would help him act like he wanted to live. Luckily, they said he started fighting to live after seeing my daughter. He had multiple surgeries and was in intensive care for 2 days and took 3 months to recover. I still have nightmares reliving seeing him being thrown around like a rag doll by those dogs. I'm so grateful he made it and that none of my children saw it happen. That was in 2015 and he's made a full recovery except for having arthritis from the injury. I feel for the plaintiff. We weren't able to sue because the owner said our dog went into their yard and it was a she said, she said situation.

She's over there making faces, being diva, also berating and degrading the plaintiff saying, "She should have taken her phone out." etc., (kinda using reverse psychology tactics to take the blame off her etc.), when her dog is bleeding to death and should have/could have/would have, and by the time it dawned on her to record, she already zoomed down the street. etc. Her ass is guilty morally. Legally, she got away Scott Free, as the reward money thing is kinda shady, even if, she was just looking for justice for her dog, and I know the plaintiff didn't have that intention with the reward money etc., and the defendant didn't officially, accidentally tell on herself during testimony, but yeah. This is one of those cases where you should reach out to the person via text and get them to slip up or admit something somehow before coming to court. I think the judge neglected to think about why a woman would run towards the dog fight, say "not my dog" and run away with the dog following her, but even then the proof would be scant. Text conversation with some acceptance of some of the facts would have sealed the deal. Poor pup 🥰

Bottom Line: If you own a cute little dog you need to video your dog walks. Dogs get loose and roam around different neighborhoods. Sometimes homeowners dont even know their dog knows how to escape the yard and return without getting caught.

In this case, you need more proof than just lip service. The defendant denies it was her dog. Perhaps the plaintiff could have looked at the perimeters of the property for more evidence. Or see if someone will admit.

😒 NOT HER DOG? RIGHT 😑 I WONDER WHY SHE CHANGED HER HAIR COLOR & CUT HER HAIR. SHE LOOKS A LOT DIFFERENT FROM THE PHOTO THEY TOOK WITH HER WALKING HER ROTTWEILER. HUH! ALSO, TELL ME THAT ROTTIE DIDN'T HAVE A COLLAR ON WITH SPIKE'S. YOU KNOW THAT OWNER'S ALWAYS BUY THOSE FOR THEM. JS 🤔

I'm not one to judge BUT the defendant is DEFINITELY guilty! The smirk on her face and body language says it all. She comes across as what the sister described the person coming over saying "that's not my dog" walking off. She looks like absolute trash! The plaintiff should have brought her case to Judge Mathis. He would have got to the bottom of the case and made sense of it all.

Wearing a prominant cross as if to suggest she is too “holy” to do anything wrong is commonly done by those who are attempting to hide guilt. Hiding behind religion can never wipe the look of guilt on her face. There might not be enough evidence, but her demeanor and that cross sure do make her look both guilty and dishonest.

Tough case. Hard to trust a stranger for info over 1k money. Like others i didn't like the smile on the other ladies face. I remember years ago, there was 2 people knocking on my door telling me i need to remove my dead cat off the road because it could caused a crash. I told them i don't have a cat and they stood there yelling at me that it was on my property and i need to remove it off the road. I asked where and they said down the road a bit. I told them that not even my property and they still kept yelling at me saying if i was a decent person i should go and remove it off the road. I told them there is 2 of you and you know where it's at, so why don't one of you remove it off the road and then i shut the door in there face. I felt bad for the cat, but at the time i was alone with my baby sleeping in the next room.

Too bad the plaintiff didn't ask neighbors for their Ring & CCTV footage as well as check her social media for her dog wearing a spike collar. 🤬 That dog is clearly NOT a puppy, he's grown already. I hope the plaintiff spoke to animal control so it's noted when he attacks again.

Why didn't the judge ask the defendant so funny and why she smiling like, but she didn't that was sad, the plaintiff should have won that's my feeling, if the defendant was so innocent why wouldn't she stand and help the plaintiff, especially what happened to the plaintiffs dog, why did she run why did she say that's not her dog, that's really sketchy and odd, the judge should have asked the defendant that,
