A beautiful dance performed in a beautiful location... by a beautiful dancer. Bravo! This video clip more than any other I have seen, combines most perfectly with the emotive experience I draw from hearing Bruddah Iz sing this song. I cherish the pain that eminates along side the audio used in this clip and I welcome the sense of warmth and love that the visual aspects of this piece add to the overall presentation of Hawaii '78. Nicely done.

Much aloha to you all and mahalo nui loa Israel for such a beautiful song. I hope your song, culture and tradition can carry on and so as your legacy. I love the hawaiian language so much, lets preserve the language.

I saw "What is tied (promised) in Heaven is tied (promised) on Earth." at the beginning and throughout the song. May we all find friends without scarcity one day soon and no one dies of broken hearts anymore. My mother always wanted to go to Hawaii. She died before she could go physically, but she came to me in a dream after she passed and visited me as her much younger version in a white dress in the Aiea apartment I was in a sleeping bag in 1991. She said she loved me and she'd be okay. When I woke up my lovely new wife started crying and told me she got a phone call earlier from my brothers that our Mombray had passed. 4 years @ Hickam as a medic, part time job @ the University of Hawaii Hyperbaric Treatment Center, certified to 300 fsw and their catalog poster boy. I have the distinction of telling a full bird Colonel and his 1 star General "No ... sir" and not going to Leavenworth because an NCO fessed up I had followed protocol. :) I flew in a Chinook over Honolulu with my roommate Civil Air Patrol squadron captain hanging onto the load cable (definitely NOT protocol) and grabbing barf bags for all the cadets and him while the pilots decided to do some fancy flying. My wife got me a ride in a glider with her over the beaches for my birthday. I was married @ Laie 32 years ago and Hawaii keeps calling to me. I wish I knew, but I feel I need to go back. Maybe I'll WOOFIE at a plantation. Or get a small yacht and live on it. Hawaii is all by itself near the ice Gate of the Angels in the Pacific. I sometimes think it was the first land settled from "outside" before New Zealand/Australia and Japan/Asia and the rest of the 7 continent "Turtle Island", including South American pyramids and Los Angeles (City of Angels), California which faces the ancient Summer Gate. Just a theory. "Thy will be done on Earth as IT IS IN HEAVEN." Aloha. And thank you for the beautiful hula.

Hawaii is sacred islands where they have to lay wreaths in that sacred water, water is life. A soul that carries empathy is a soul that has survived enormous pain. 🌾🍀#PrayforMaui 🌴🍃 #ClimateChangeAwareness⚘☘🌿🍃🌴#AlohaAina 🍀🌾🌿 #NativeHawaiiansLivesMatter🦅

Hello Ben, my sister, who was just introduced to the art of hula last year in Germany, absolutely loves Naomi's beautiful performance and graceful choreography and was wondering whether she could get her permission to copy, use, and perform her choreography in public with full credit going to Naomi.
@hopechapelwestoahu29 күн бұрын
Sure. that would be fine. Naomi said she is great with that.

Thank you so, so very much from the bottom of our hearts💖💖 I don't know if there will be a KZfaq upload but I'm sure my sister will have it recorded and I'd be more than happy to then send you the video.
