I love Archangel's reaction to when Airwolf met the Refueling Tanker, there was a question whether the spy had gone over to the other side, was to cheer, A nice crack in his stoic demeanor.

Shame that the cold war tension wasn't used in season 2 and 3. It became too family orientated.

New producers couldn't match the tone Belisarius had set in season 1...wish someone would make a movie of this today....Airwolf being one of the secret helicopters that assisted in Bin Laden's assassination....

difference is AH-64 Apache is a real helicopter, Airwolf is a make-believe helicopter - in real life, it's just an air ambulance, and not designed to maneuver well

Airwolf wasn't unarmed. She still had 2 weapons. 1) Her turboes and the Jetwash from them as we see here. 2) Sunbursts: Incredibly hard to use, but if you drop them right in the middle of a bunch of ground pounders, its as bad as white phosphorous.

When I was a kid, I didn't like this episode because he didn't blow anything up. As an adult, I realize that he was so badass that he didn't even need guns & rockets to kick ass.
