He’s the one who took out the Avengers along with the helicarrier. He’s the one who rescued everyone while they were mind controlled by Scarlet Witch. He’s the one who rescued Scarlet switch who, in turn, was able to lift the building that would end up getting Cap and Bucky to the quinjet. He’s the one who took down the cartel and the yakuza. He’s the one who had the toughest job of all soul stones and risked his life testing time travel for the team. He’s the one who protected the gauntlet from Thanos, indirectly saving the universe.

Well most of the Avengers are literally overpowered. But when it comes to just raw skill, Hawkeye is definitely at the top of the list. Almost all the other avengers are what they are because of technology, super powers, or augmentation in some way or the other. Hawkeye is just naturall skillful. And he's probably incredibly smart too. You'll need a big brain to calculate the trajectories of those arrows.

Clint Barton (Hawkeye) has no superhuman powers, he is at the very peak of human condition. He is an exceptional fencer, acrobat and marksman, having been trained from childhood in the circus. This includes considerable strength, as a supervillain found out when he tried to use the superhero's 250 pounds-force (1,100 newtons) draw-weight bow and found out that he could not draw back the string to launch an arrow. Hawkeye has also been thoroughly trained by Captain America in tactics, martial arts, and hand-to-hand combat. Hawkeye excels in the use of ranged weapons, especially the bow and arrow, and carries a quiver containing a number of customized "trick arrows". In his role as Ronin, Barton shows great proficiency with the katana and other melee weapons. Yes! I mean, the bow aside (apparently its has over 200lbs of tension which would require superhuman strength to fully draw according to an archery expert - proof that Hawkeye is superhuman after all? ;-) ) but also how much strength would it take to fatally drive an arrow into a metal being like that at the 1 minute mark? He is vastly underrated & much more to him than meets the eye. And that bow-staff was awesome, I wish we'd had a closer look at it.

Can we talk about how he was able to fight Black fucking Panther one on one and do pretty damn well? He somehow even managed to get behind T'challa and put him in a choke hold with his bow/staff. Anyone who saw the new Black Panther movie knows how absolutely insane of a feat that is for a normal human like Clint. 👍

Yeah,I was...AM enraged. I read the poster and his name was THE ONLY ONE left out while Dave Bautista and others were mentioned....but it is okay,he only got screwed over again...He is NOT IN INFINITY WAR.....And the reason they give is silly,why the character and not the actor,one of six original avengers is sidelined. Maybe he wanted too much money idk....just sucks.

@@ThePrinceofHisOwnKingdom That is not a good reason,that is a TERRIBLE reason! An overstuffed movie like that,20 major players...and Hawkeye specifically makes it crowded? We needed Falcon and Scarlet witch?? Come on. He is one of the six original Avengers and in the first one,they reintroduced all the other five AGAIN...while the one no one knew who he was got turned into a brainwashed puppet after three minutes. There was no need,didnt make sense,it was just fucking mean. Then he got to shine a little in Ultron but basically,Hawkeye was at this point fucked in two of three Avengers movies....without real reason. I find it baffling since there really was no need for that in either film. Renner deserves better and when you become a laughing stock in Marvel,it is not on you usually,its on writers and directors.

Hawkeye is my fav avenger. Even though people criticize him for having a bow when something else serious is happening for example, him vs vision and all he has is a bow, he's still my favorite character. And the bow always fascinated me. But I still love the Winter Soldier tho

His plan was not to take down Vision, Vision was the holder of an infinity stone. His plan was to stalemate him pissing him off and prove Wanda that they were not wrong, making Wanda attack Vision. If people criticized him for that, then they are beyond saving.

After seeing Black Panther, you gotta give Hawkeye some serious props for being able to hold his own in a 1 on 1 fight against T'challa during the airport fight. Shit, at one point Clint somehow managed to get behind T'challa and put him in a chokehold with his bow/staff.

Elder Rodríguez He's more than just tech and armor. He has enhanced speed and strength and the Herb also gives him enhanced combat instincts. All of that is stated in the movie. The fact that Hawkeye was able to last that long against someone with Captain America's physicals, enhanced combat skills, and crazy armor is honestly astounding.

Hawkeye is the MCU example of Redemption equals Demotion. He's so overpowered when Loki controlled him and then after he broke the mindcontrol he got his ass kicked a lot afterwards. He still kickass though, especially in Age of Ultron.

I honestly love Hawkeye they have given him a different story arc but still one that shows the best in him. In the conversation with his wife he admits he's not a god or anything above human..but that's what makes him..well him, his personality is to die for..and I can't wait to see more of him

The fact that he was able to hold his own against Black Panther, however briefly, shows that Hawkeye's a lot tougher than most people seem to give him credit for.

When you think about it, The Avengers kind of need Hawkeye to win battles. He can do damage from long range, while most of the Avengers mainly get up close. Even though Iron man and Thor can use distance based attacks, the normally get up close. With this being said, Hawkeye is one of the most underrated Avengers today.
