I do like those Hawkey Cameras. Pretty good cameras at a good price. I use the Hawkey Firefly 90 Deg. FOV as my primary camera. This one looks like another good one. Thanks for the review.

Since the Runcam thumb v1 has been discontinued the runcam v2 price has been through the roof. Bought the Hawkeye Thumb 2, haven't tried it jet. But it smelled very bad out of the box. I'm also planning to try to remove the battery to see if it still functions and I can save a little weight.

I have the original Hawkeye 4K Split on my 7" quad which has pretty good internal stabilisation and recently updated to Version 4 with Gyroflow. Same menu as the Thumb. No chance of flying footage due to the same weather you have but I can already see a huge improvement in picture and video performance; equal to my Xiaomi Note 10 Pro which is a good benchmark. Your flying location is one of the best on KZfaq; lucky you. It took a few years but I eventually worked out where you are. I'm in northern Tasmania. Did you circumnavigate that island yet? Cheers.

Good day Sir, just a question hows recording duration? I was very disappointed by my insta360go2 with its 10 min. overheat issue. Looking at this as an alternative. Thanks in advance

It records in 10 min (1.4GB) segments for about 110min

it proba not do time lapse ,judging by name of app its a third party app that is used by multiple cameras and manufactures , still a neat little cam decent picture and features colour is little lack lustre but i guess if you play around in settings could be better
