Agreed, PokeaimMD and MoxieBoosted have that longer content but I don’t really like to watch their videos for 2 reasons. 1. They use showdown to team build. I don’t use showdown, so I have no idea what I’m looking at. 2. They tend to bring guests on while team building. It feels odd to watch because instead of explaining it to the viewer, they talk amongst themselves and it feels like if you don’t know what they’re talking about you don’t know what’s going on. I enjoy Hayden’s explanation and then right into the battle. To put it simply.

I'm not sure, but I have some knowledge. For IVs, I have literally no clue. But for Evs, I can share. Certain pokemon grant certain Evs to your pokemon when defeated, such as some pokemon give attack Evs, and some give speed Evs, and stuff. You should definitely google which pokemon give which Evs, because I don't know any of them. There are items at some delibird presents store to grant bonus Evs (power lens, power anklet, power bracer, etc) when defeating a pokemon. (Example: if your pokemon has the power lens item, they get like 8 bonus special attack Evs when defeating any pokemon.) Each stat can max out to about 250 something Evs, with only 520 Evs total. When checking your pokemon in your party, there should be a button in the stat chart that shows stat distribution in Evs. If a stat "sparkles" in the Ev chart, then that stat is maxed, and cant get any more Evs. I think the chart appears golden if all Evs have been distributed. If you notice Evs in a stat that you do not want Evs in, there are certain Berry's that reduce Evs, and allow them to be redistributed to the stats you want. I'm not sure if this helps a lot, so I would highly recommend looking up tutorials on KZfaq and Google for Evs training.

It’s pretty easy to collect bottle caps to max your IVs through Tera raids, I’ve gotten quite a few from 5 star raids. Mons only need to be level 50 to hyper train a stat now instead of 100, and you can buy the vitamins for EVs from the Chansey stores. You can also buy the mints to change natures as well. All in all, it’s really easy to “perfect” any given mon imo

You can also always play on showdown if the hassle of doing all that isn't something you are interested in.
