7 ай бұрынIn this video I overview Haymeadow Creek National Forest Campground in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I also take a short hike on the Bay De Noc / Grand Island National Recreation Trail. Haymeadow Creek Campground is considered the midpoint trailhead for this 40 mile long historic portage route.

Question..we love UP..usually go to state forest campgrounds...we recently got a National Park for National forest...what Park would you recommend that is quiet and not crowded

If you want quiet, I think it has more to do with the time of the year that you go than anything else. After Labor day there are a lot less tourists. July and August you can expect to see some crowds.

This is my kind of camping spot. With no services, should be quite and out of the way of typical car campers.
