Been listening to this song since it came out. My big brother Matthew showed me this song wen we was lil kids...he was murdered 2yrs ago an still ain't got justice, this song helps me cope threw the pain of the realization that hes really gone. Thank you haystack #FLYHIGHMATT
@justasmalltowngirl94302 жыл бұрын
Dang man sorry to hear that. I can oddly relate to ya,...I have an older brother also named Matt, even more so I've lost a loved one too. My father was murdered in his own home on the night of his 41st birthday. We didn't have any answers for a long time. It was about 6 years later before two indictments came out on two of the people involved. Mostly bc one person involved got in trouble, and started talking, beings that she placed herself there as some innocent witness, she got off with nothing. The man with the plan, 5 years, and the one who pulled the trigger 25. Anyhow, it brought it all back up again, having to sit there and view the pictures they showed to the jury, it was hard. The woman involved who got off, she later died from overdose a year or so later,...I think she couldn't live with the guilt. I hated her for getting off from it so easily, when she never tried to say anything for years, not until she got in trouble, but even if her story was complete bs it did help to finally get a conviction. But truth is, she was with the two men, that's how they got into his hole at 3am, he seen her and opened the door, then they came through. He wouldn't have opened the door to two men with a sawed off, common sense. Anyhow, once again I am so sorry about your brother, may he fly high, and watch over you. I hope and pray that one day you and your family will have the answers and the closure you need, I hope they catch the person/people responsible. (By the way, in his case, it was people he knew, heck I had grown up with that girls younger cousin,....lots of times it's someone close to the person, a friend, etc. It is sometimes random, but more often than not,.. it's someone they knew). Your in my thoughts and prayers, God bless you.

I was introduced to Haystak while I was in the joint. His music got me thru some dark times. Talk about, "I know everyone can relate to Stak if you got stab wounds all up and down your back!" I been in the mix with some phonie homies for a long ass time. The words he puts to his music give me strength and courage. He has my heart. I would love to meet him! Keep on doin' what you do Haystak, this world would be a much darker place without you. God bless you and your people.
