Hard to love. Very powerful description of my issues in life. The few who cared to love me, despite the walls, know I'm the girl who'll fight back and rarely run. Life gets messy, sometimes rough, I can relate my life has battle wounds and deep scars not soon to forget or heal, the damage is done. Survival is all I'm capable of, when push comes to shove, I'll be the first to share kindness and unconditional love. But where's that same type of love from my heartthrobs, loves of my past, my trusted friends and related blood kin? Where do I run or hide when life becomes hard, gets the better of me, changes me & strips me from my integtity, who the hells in charge? Who do I count on when all is lost? I'm there for you, with a place to hide, food on my table and guidance to survive. Why so many create further demise is beyond my peace and grace to provide. The deeper the fall May lead to never getting up. Very few rise above the chaos or paths they choose, most are overtaken by greed, false hope & self appointed law. "Do unto others as you would Like, Hope & Pray they do unto you", was how I was raised but it isn't a reality now days. I'm scarred by poison, bad choices, tainted by predestined paths, evil people seeking their own sick aftermath, and if this isn't enough to create such hell we are bombarded by manipulated bible context misconstrued. I get hurt often but time heals an issue or two, but the process is pain I no longer can take, my heart is crushed and wont tolerate. To those who read my words, let me say, "it's not that I'm negative or live by pain.....it's a simple fact that I am skewed by most everyone and everything." If you read between my lines, you will come to know that my kindness will not be a weakness or something I will give freely twice! When you burn me, ignore me. hurt me, judge me and/or slander my point of view, the rose colored glasses I wear by choice, will come off and know this is a sign that my crosshairs are set upon you. That goes for my closest friends & family as well, the damage you do to me will provide me a reason to destroy you. I react by the way you accept, and trust me. First song I ever heard was Bonnie & Clyde his little cousin an I made a remix to it. But never done anything with it. This song Hard to love was the 2nd song i heard of his, I was hooked from the very first song. :) I dont really like rap music much bc its all bs. But haystaks music isnt like other rap music. His Music is about real life struggles, situations, events, love & loss, etc its real shit hes been through. His music is relateable an the lyrics speak a very loud message. I can relate to this song I have been married 2 times and both wor bad on me and my kids the second one cost me my kids now thay are with there real dad from my first marriage and it pains my to watch them level after a visit tear fell my eyes every time but I now thay are doing just fine and growing in.
