Classy from Koeman. Typical for a Dutchman. We English love the Dutch. This is why as an England fan I also support Netherlands and Croatia to do well when England aren't playing them. @@giorgosgalemetakis9788it was a real 50-50 match. England better in the first half could have scored a couple more. Netherlands had good chances in the second half, could have scored a couple. Sometimes it's moments that make the difference. Wouldn't have given that as a penalty, was shocked it went to VAR, but I still think in extra time England would have had more especially with Watkins. Maybe Gorden as well to sprint through...

I’m English I grew up in awe of Koeman and Van Basten, I’ve met many dutch people and visited the Netherlands many many times I can honestly say I’ve never met more friendlier people anywhere else honestly they’re my second favourite international team.

If a player with Studs raised, catches a player, after the ball has gone, or as a player, plays the ball, it would be clased as a late challenge, referee would have blown, and awarded a free kick, and booked the player for late challenge. Anywhere on the Pitch!! If it is doone in the penalty box, it becomes a penalty! So in any case, it would be a foul and late challenge. FACT!! you cant call it just a foul and free kick for a late challange, in the Penalty box.its a penalty.

@@clockworkman8210 Kane kicked the defender as much as the defender kicked him. It was very light contact. You had to watch in slow motion replay to even see the contact. Kane is a fraud rolling around on the ground. Hope Spain wins 5-0

Pulling back Platt and not being sent off ! Yep It was an England penalty. Rice did a Gerard that led to the Dutch goal. Gareth alluded to how Ronald was constantly changing the shape of his team and Gareth managed to effectively counteract it. England were woeful in the group stage and didn't shine after that. We must now play like the City against Spain

Koeman spoke well and was very magnanimous in defeat. Tough penalty decision but given the dominance in the first half I don't think it's fair to say England didn't deserve to win. It could have been either side though in the end. The Dutch were unlucky on the night.

Not only because it was no faul and just a normal block where Kane and Dumfries toched each other's feet, but also because that nitpicking VAR was not so nitpicking when it missed the hands ball from Saka before the ball went to Kane. But anyway, good luck today in the final. Hope England will finally win a trophy again after such a long time

It was a penalty. Unlucky but still. The dutch were also Unlucky with a couple of soft freekicks last 5 minutes. Netherlands did well with this squad imo. Need a classic great striker which they have had at their best. A Van Basten or Van Nistelroy.

How is it an unjust result when England played much better football and Netherlands tried to stop England playing in the second half. Even taking away the penalty, the score would have been 1-1, and England more the likely to win it in extra time. An unjust result would have been if the side playing the better football had gone out. Grow up.
