7:45 there is a certain liquid spray that you can apply before welding. keeps those bubbles away or makes them easy to remove. otherwise, painting it over just feels terribly wrong.

Uplifting to see guys who keep everyone else's cars going get the opportunity to work on their own cool projects and get to flex their car guy muscles. Old Miatas are pretty special for being easy to get and sorta cheep and...great fun. Seeing one get saved, then have a lot of really thoughtful changes put into it to music that was like a nujabes tape was therapeutic. Thanks guys, great job.

Nice man but if you do this again I strongly suggest you don't cut the tabs off when doing the fender flares. Cutting them off does 2 things on a unibody car, 1 it comprises lateral strength in the rest of the body panels that were cut and if your driving can cause the fenders to rattle and 2 unless you seal that opening water will get in-between the outer layer and the inner layer which will cause rust and rot. Rather than cutting them all the way off you can roll them into the wheel well then just seal by undercoating the well. Just an observation but other than that beautiful job 🤙🤌🤙

haha technically not all for $900. But I bought the car for $900 but even with the all the mods it still came out to a pretty reasonable price. I'll be releasing a price breakdown video very very soon. So make sure you're subscribed to notified.

Looks amazing man wish I could find a cheapo miata to build but everyone around me I've found wants almost 5 grand for a roached out one with 200k miles. Way more than I want to spend on one that's for sure lol

@@HazardGarage They seem click baity and disingenuous to me. They never indicate it's a time lapse and that it was a build done in hours sometimes days. You on the other hand did put Timelapse in the title! Thank you
